Wonderfully Pleasing to the Skin. However, See UPDATE.
***UPDATE*** I am in my mid-40's and my skin has changed a lot since getting older. Some areas I need a lot of moisture for dry skin, and other areas, (mostly neck, face, and shoulders), I have oily skin or will have a small "breakout". St. Ives Body Wash Oatmeal and Shea Butter is one of my all-time favorites and have been using for years. Why? * This moisturizes without parabens and all the fillers, and so many things our skin DOESN'T need. The top two moisturizers being Oatmeal and Shea Butter, which has even more wonderful properties than just moisturizing - it also protects skin. (See description of Shea Butter under Era Organics Complete Moisturizer for men and women! * Despite having areas of oily skin, this moisturizes without causing skin irritation, breakouts, and does not aggravate my skin * This moisturizes - for me - perfectly. It is soothing and calming, without having an overwhelming fragrance, and cleanses well. ***HOWEVER, I have been breaking out quite a lot the last month, but still need moisture. I did A LOT of research (which is a passion for me) regarding skin and skincare. I found that Peppermint Oil and Eucalyptol are part of nature's wonderful - NATURAL - skin treatments. In fact, I remembered that over 20 years ago I used to purchase Handmade Peppermint soap from a small shop in my hometown. My skin loved it. However, the shop closed up with a couple months of finding this wonderful, handmade "soap", and I simply forgot about it. So, I have now purchased Burt's Bees Soap Bark & Camomile Deep Cleansing Cream (love it so far!), first for cleansing - even makeup - and is very soothing, moisturizing, cleanses well, all without being drying to the skin. I use Era Organics Dead See Mud Mask (Detoxifying skin is vital to healthy skin, I found in my research) and use it several times/week. It can be used on the body as well. After removing the mask or just cleansing gently with WARM water, I use Thayers Medicated Superhazel as a toner AM & PM, (it has organic Aloe, Peppermint Oil, Eucalyptol, and Thayers proprietary un-distilled witch hazel. (I also have Thayers Cucumber and Aloe witch hazel because it doesn't contain alcohol. That's why I limit using the Superhazel because it contains some Alcohol). Then I use Era Organics Complete Moisturizer (it is amazing and also can be used on any part of the body - I use primarily as a facial/décolletage moisturizer, but it has been great for burns and cuts, and skin irritation). And now - finally - onto the shower gel: I am now trying Alba Botanica Very Emollient Bath & Shower Gel in SPARKLING MINT. It also has peppermint oil. I just started using it, so I will post a review for that product after using it for at least a couple weeks, but so far I LOVE IT. It also comes in different "aromas" and at a GREAT price her on Amazon. However, the Mint is absolute paradise, IMHO. St. Ives is a fantastic brand. I've ONLY changed based on my aggravated skin and what I've found in my research, not because I don't like St. I'ves. If you want something good and gentle for the skin, and still feel clean, this is an absolute winner.

Love Love This
Love Love This!! I Was Pleasantly Surprised By The Even And Bright Body Wash. I Am Quite Picky About What Products That I Put On My Skin Because I Don't Like The Heavy, Oily Feeling That A Lot Of Body Washes Leave You Feeling. When I Buy A Body Wash I Am Wanting To Exit My Shower Feeling Clean, Not Oily And Like I Need A Shower. Even And Bright Was Refreshing And Rejuvenating! I Love The Way That It Makes My Skin Feel And I Love The Way That It Smells! St. Ives Did It Again With This One. It's A Winner! I've Been Looking For The Perfect Exfoliating Body Wash - And I've Finally Found It. The Pink Lemon And Mandarin Smell SO Good And Really Leave You Feeling Refreshed. The Microbeads Also Do A Great Job At Removing Dead Skin - Especially During Those Dry Winter Months When We All Tend To Neglect Our Skin A Bit (Admit It, We All Do It At Least A Little Bit!) Let Me Begin By Saying That I've Never Found A Grapefruit Scented Product That Hasn't Been Overwhelmingly Fragrant - Until This Body Wash. It Has Just Enough Of A Citrus-Y Scent That It Perks You Right Up In The Morning, But Not Too Strong. At The Same Time, It Lasts To The Point Where I'll Leave The House Without Body Mist On And I'll Still Get Compliments On How Nice I Smell, Just From This Product. That Hooked Me Immediately; It's Only A Bonus That It Exfoliates Amazingly Well Without Being Rough. Scent Has Always Been An Important Thing For Me For Body Washes. I Find It A Struggle To Find A Scent That's Bright And Feminine Without Being Too Strong, Too Flowery, And Too Fake. I Really Enjoy The Scent Of The Even And Bright Pink Lemon And Mandarin Orange Body Wash. In Terms Of Body Washes, I Liked How This Body Wash Has A Finer Level Of Exfoliation Than The Bulky Microbeads That Aren't Eco-Friendly. Body Washes Have Always Been One Of Those Things Where I Just Grabbed Random Things, Never Using The Same Brand Or Scent Twice, But This Body Wash Is One That I Will Buy Again. I Really Love This Product! It Smells Like Sunshine And Springtime In A Bottle, And Makes Me Smile Every Time I Use It. I Love That It Isn't Too Drying On My Skin, Even Though It Lathers Up A Lot (But Let's Be Honest, The Lather Is Part Of The Fun, Am I Right?!). And Seriously, It Makes My Bathroom Smell Fantastic - So Clean, And Bright! It's Moisturizing Enough For Me That Sometimes I Don't Have To Put On Lotion Afterwards, Too, Which Is A Plus For Busy Mornings. I Will Definitely Purchase And Use This Product Again.

Great and multifaceted... and some other, stranger, comments.
Couple of interesting points to make on this one: - Yes, the smell is exactly like fresh oranges. And they're really in there (you can feel the pulp) - There's an "exfoliation meter" on the back that points to "mild" (low on the scale). Don't let this put you off. I am a firm believer that exfoliation deserves a separate step/treatment, and you don't want to "exfoliate" your entire body repeatedly for the whole shower -- save it for where it needs it. - I am a guy and still love this. Don't let the pink color put you off, men. The next points are a bit gross but arguably the most helpful. - This lathers up just enough to wash the entirety of the nether regions -- body hair and all -- and doesn't sting - Great for removing the crufty old deodorant you put on earlier. Most shampoos and soaps take a lot of extra work to get rid of all the cruft and leave the pits clean. This guy magically dissolves even thick deodorant and cuts through any stink underneath in just one lather. A little dab on your hands should proceed each region's scrub. I don't recommend using a big blob and spreading it around -- it seems the effectiveness diminishes after the first area it touches.

Perfect for sensitive skin and noses
This new dual-purpose formula combines oatmeal extract with 100% Natural Exfoliants. Use as a mark to nourish dry skin or as a scrub to smooth away dullness. Product Benefits: – 100% natural exfoliants – Sulfate-free – Oil-free – Hypoallergenic – Dermatologist tested – Non-comedogenic. 💗 Pros. • A gentle exfoliating product for everyday use. • Will suit sensitive and combination skin. • Formulated with natural ingredients. • Leaves skin tighter and clean pores off whiteheads. • Pleasant shea butter fragrance with a creamy texture and ideal consistency. • Convenient and travel-friendly packaging. • Unclogs pores and non-comedogenic so acts against acne. • Free of Parabens. • Dermatologist tested. • Easily available and pocket friendly. I couldn’t find any cons. I have combo skin and it worked beautifully for my skin.

Good product
For the price and quality, well worth it. The scent is light and refreshing, though not as citrusy as I expected. I love the fineness of the scrub and it leaves my skin soft and clean. I also love that it doesn't irritate my skin!

Yummy fresh citrus scent - and it's a subscribe and save item!
This is a gentle everyday scrub that gets nice and sudsy with a mesh bath pouf. It smells amazing and citrus-y, and is high quality like all the other St. Ives products. There is a slightly perfume-like fragrance behind the citrus. Wish they'd drop that and just let the citrus scent stand out, but it's not too strong overall. The best part was the fact that it's a practical, usable, and inexpensive item I could buy through the Subscribe and Save program to reach my 5-item discount.

My favorite wash at any price
Did you know that you can prevent all soap scum in your shower or tub by not using--wait for it--soap? Use a body wash instead! I love the creamy feel of this particular body wash. It lathers very well, and it doesn't have a perfume-y sent. I've tried many other brands, most quite a bit more expensive, but this is my favorite. No other brands gives me such a nice, rich creamy lather. It also works great as a bubble bath in the tub. I love it when the best product also has the best price! I don't know why, but this is hard to find in stores. Target is about the only place I can find it, but shipped to my door via subscribe and save is even better!

Exceptional body wash with invigorating, gender-neutral scent
My wife and I regularly use this product as well as the Sea Salt & Kelp variety (which is a better value and my favorite scent). They are both exceptional products. They are both great scents, and the exfoliating elements really make skin feel incredibly soft. Fellas, I know the bottle is pink, and all the ladies talk about how it makes them feel pretty, but don't be too concerned about that. It is a gender-neutral scent that really smells fantastic and is quite invigorating in the mornings. The scent is not overpowering and does not linger; I think it smells like sweetened grapefruit. If you're scared of the color pink, then go with Sea Salt & Kelp. It's perfect.
