Picture is from 10yards with new scope just put on. “Ignore the shot placement.” The bolt fletching never came in contact with the bag, and they were easy to pull out. Rarely it was tough to pull, but that was due to the kinetic energy and heat which was visible on the tip on the bolt. This target is great and worked well for my setup. I shot my killer instinct fuel 415fps and it stopped the bolts no problem. Saw a lot of people worried the rates Fps was a lie but turned out great, as well as I don’t believe compound bows or crossbows really shoot there advertised Fps unless you go with the light crappy arrows they send anyways (just my opinion). *This target is not meant for broad heads* really wish it could handle them , I like to shoot broadheads when sighting in , to make sure flight path is somewhat the same. The overall material seems durable , but wouldn’t recommend leaving outside exposed. Seems like it wouldn’t take much for it to become heavily weathered. Would definitely buy again. Curve bow. Super easy to twist out arrows as said in reviews. Tested the block out and it was excellent upon impact of the arrows. Material intact, strong and most importantly.. FUN as ever to hit the tagets! Tried the nine ball and dart board! Hope Morell makes more targets like these with multi faces to have fun with family and friends. The sound upon impact was acceptable too. Love it hands down and would definitely buy more blocks like this! Worth the price!

I bought this for a gift for best friend after also giving him the finest crossbow pistol in all the land— the Ballista Bat. I am rating this target highly and getting another one for myself soon because unlike my current crossbow target, this one stops arrows well but they are easier to remove and the tips don’t break off. The price of this one is better, too.

I just got this target and am very impressed. My previous target was a classic block, and I am shooting a PSE Drive at 66 lbs. and probably around 300 FPS. This target is very heavy (about 32 lbs) and I think it's a great size for shooting at home (19" cube.) At first I was concerned about the covering getting worn out , but that doesn't look like it will be much of an issue. My arrows did leave holes in the cover, but as I used the target more, I noticed that the previous holes were closing themselves up. The arrows seem to push the fibers aside, then move back into position over time. As for arrow penetration, my arrows went anywhere from 6-10 inches into the target and were VERY easy to pull out. With my old block, I had to kneel on the target and used both hands to pull an arrow out at first. With this target I could easily pull out the arrows with two fingers. I also really like the four designs on the target as they help to work on accuracy and spread out the abuse on the target which should help it to last longer. The only criticism is that the deer side of the target is a bit small, but aiming at a smaller target should help you to hit a bigger one in the woods, right?

I moved up to a 415 FPS Crossbow this year.. shot at my old BC 300 target, and the bolts shot right through it lol. This target stops the bolts with a fair amount of shaft sticking out. I can pull them out using 2 fingers. I would definitely tell others to buy this target. Good value for the money spent!

Apparently, the seller is confused about what they are selling. I received a target that costs twice as much but was made for bows and not crossbows. I've learned there is a huge difference. Amazon sent me the correct target that is yellow, made to handle 450fps crossbows and works like a dream. At 30 yards the bolt buried halfway but pulled out like butter. Just as promised. The original one they sent me still buried halfway but took 2 hands and everything you got to remove the bolt. I've noticed the reviews here are for almost all of their targets. I'm glad Amazon got me the right one delivered in 2 days. I gave 4 stars because the seller has no idea what they are doing. But the 450fps cube target with a game on all 4 sides is exactly what a good crossbow needs. Good luck making sure you get the one listed and the reviews you read are for this target.

Great target heavy duty large size I bought for a gift and it was a hit

This product works well, I have used it for a couple months now and I can say that Morrell is a company with outstanding values when it comes to customer service. I now have two of their products because of a snafu that happened with the shipping system through amazon. I have this product and another called the yellow jacket which is also available on amazon. this one is shorter and more stable than the yellow jacket, both have the same type of shell on them this one seems to have a little more stopping power than the yellow jacket which is still more than adequate to stop arrows from my 50lb compound bow. They would both easily handle a 70lb bow and I think that the double duty here would handle anything you throw at it as bows and crossbows go. These are all handmade in the usa in a small factory. After dealing with their sales team I would support them any time. Now if I could award bonus stars here I would, the afformentioned shipping problem was the worst part of this order. I ordered the Morrell double duty target and Amazon shipped me the Morrell Yellow Jacket So I had to repackage the target, print a return label and put the package out for UPS. Amazon sent me another Yellow Jacket so I had to rinse and repeat the process again, this time contacting their customer service team, I thought the issue would be resolved however I recieved a third Yellow Jacket target. Having run out of packing tape and completely frustrated I called the customer service team back and explained the situation and told them that I was tired of wasting my own time and resources shipping products back to them. Amazon did the right thing and decided to just cut thier losses and let me keep the third target without paying for it since it was not what I ordered. Here's where Morrell really shined. So on the second return I looked at the shipping label on the box which had a contact number for the company who makes the target. I called the number an was met with a friendly staff who was concerned about happy customers. I spoke with customer service rep Jeff who told me that they wanted to keep a good word about their company and products. He told me that the amazon products were actually shipped by amazon not Morrell. He also said that he would make sure that if amazon sent me a third mistake that Morrell would help out by making sure I got what I ordered at no charge. I would like to point out that this was not an error on Morrell's end in any way but they were willing to fix it at a loss to themselves to keep happy customer relations. Jeff also was extremely personable and enjoyable to speak with so I enjoyed my interactions with Morrell and did not dread having to call them back. The end to the story is that since amazon sent me the wrong target a third time Morrell shipped me the one I ordered and Amazon wound up letting me keep the mistake and credited my money back so it was a hassle and time consuming but in the end I wound up with two targets and did'nt have to pay for either of them, that totally made up for any time and effort on my part and I can say at this point if I need archery supplies in the future I will check Morrell first!

Arrows were shot with a Barnett Ghost 410 crossbow at 19 1/2 feet due to in door distance limitation. With each test the same arrow was shot twice and measurements of the protruding nock to target distance taken. Each shot was in an unshot target area. Arrows were shot through a Pro Digital Chronograph set one arrow length in front of the crossbow stirrup. Test #1: 22" Barnett Head Hunter Carbon Arrow (shaft with field point 430 grain) 400 feet per second. Nock to target distance: 10 5/8", 12 1/2". Test #2: 22" Easton 2219 (shaft with field point 486 grain) 385 feet per second. This arrow shaft is from the mid 1980-1990's, (pure aluminum) cut to length for this crossbow. Nock to target distance 9 1/4", 9 1/4". In each instance, the arrow was removed very easily. This Morrell Target (The Bone Collector 400 F.P.S. Target) is for field point only. It is a very well constructed target, shoot able on four sides with each side having a different graphic. There are two handles on the top of the target for carrying (not for hanging). This target can also be shot with a compound bow which I have done as well. The crossbow is a much higher F.P.S. bow. As with any target, when not in use, mine are always stored inside out of the weather. I have various brands and series of targets in my collection, being purchased, looking for a high quality target. Some of these other targets were cheaper while others were a lot more expensive. This target has had many, many shots and as out performed all other brands I have tried and even some in the Morrell target series. Over all I am very happy with this target and highly recommend it.

Las dos agarraderas se sienten muy endebles y es posible que en cualquier momento se rompa una o las dos y,se dificultaría su movilidad, este objetivo es pesado llegando a casi 18 kg de peso, es decir, si uno busca movilidad no es tan adecuado que digamos. Tal como otros compradores lo describen viene por abajo con un mal acabado en grapas en vez de que sea cosido, con lo cual hay que tener cuidado si se usa en interiores, pero definitivamente sirve para práctica en casa o en campo. Hice siete disparos de prueba en diversos lugares de éste parapente y los soportó perfectamente bien, es sumamente fácil de sacar las flechas disparadas a 320 fps., me da la impresión que de alguna manera tiene un lubricante liquido, que cuando se acabe dificultaría la extracción de las flechas, para lo cual habrá que usar un saca flechas o incluso un liquido saca flechas. Por otra parte aunque hay lugares mal impresos, en términos generales está muy bonito y presenta varias áreas muy divertidas para el tiro, tal como lo dice en una de las caras, estoy de acuerdo que sirve para interiores y exteriores, sin embargo, dada la tecnología que pudiera tener para el sacado tan fácil de las flechas ahora que está nuevo, considero recomendable que cuando no se use, se guarde en interiores para mantener lo más posible sus características de nuevo. Considero que cumple sus objetivos perfectamente bien, que son el detener flechas sin dañarlas y, si se reparten los tiros adecuadamente, podría servir para soportar hasta unos 3000 tiros de flecha de arco o unos 2000 tiros de flechas con ballesta. por eso le pongo 5 estrellas, me justó muchísimo.

This target has held up well so far to lots and lots of shots. It's heavy and seems strong enough to hold up for a couple more years for sure. I have just been using target points though, but they pull out fine and don't leave a huge hole. I can't say how a broadhead or crossbow bolt will hold up, but so far it's been great. The target doesn't move when you hit it as it's pretty heavy.

Muy recomendable, llevo usándolo dos veces por semana y ha funcionado bastante bien, solo debes asegurarte que tus puntas estén bien apretadas a la hora de tirar, al momento de sacar la flecha debes hacer de forma recta sin girar la flecha, si haces bien ésto tendrás asegurada la diversión. Lo uso con un arco compuesto de 55 libras y funciona muy bien,. Lo recomiendo.

Easy to remove crossbow bolts, lots of targets to hit on each side. It’s a little heavy but is very well built. Stops bolts easily at 400 FPS. Great product
