Gore Bike Wear Men's Contest 2.0 Active Shell Jacket, Vibrant Orange/White, XX-Large

I would admit to being a bit of a weather wimp and find that I can easily find an excuse to avoid riding in the cold. This shell has been a great addition that has made cold weather rides comfortable. This shell really does cut down on the wind, making the start of my ride less of a suffer fest. Once I'm warmed up, I roll it up and stuff it into my back pocket, no problem. The shell is a nice fit, snug without being tight. I got the XL, I'm 6'1" 200#. Arm length is fine, sleeves fit fine.

Would have loved to kept this as bought at a good price, I am 5'9" but quite broad chested (not fat at all) and even the large felt it was about to split if I moved in it too much, couldnt lean out to handles without riding up across shoulders and backHad to send it back - shame looked real nice on.

the windstopper fabric perform as expected: blocks wind well yet very breathable. The garment is very light. I usually wear a size medium but need a size large for this jacket. While the body fits,the sleeves are too long. Overall, I am very happy with the jacket.

Lightweight, windproof, pretty water resistant. However not very durable - mine has had relatively light usage over the last three seasons and is looking very tired. Overall good value for the $75 I paid.

Great looking jacket. Really cuts down on the breeze to almost nothing. Very pleased with the quality and fit for the most part. I am 6' 172 and the large jacket could be a little longer in both from and back. Sleeves cover nicely as does the collar. Overall very pleased.

its a simple jacket but it does the job very well. If you like to layer your clothing then this is the perfect top layer. Pretty much as good as a waterproof but more breathable. the mesh on the arms helps a lot to stop getting sweaty there. Size - I am 5'7" narrow build and i wear a large which sounds ridiculous and it is a little roomy but i don't like a tight fit. I tried on a medium too and that fitted well, with enough length in the arms (often not enough in jackets), a fairly snug fit. Anyone over my height I would say you need large.
