The fit around the waist is perfect, but it's a bit long when wearing with skirts that sit low on the waist (my mistake for not looking more closely at the photo). The fabric is comfortable and movement is not restricted at all. I specifically bought this Velrose slip to wear under a thin white skirt. Despite the skirt having a sewn-in (tissue-thin) slip of its own, the material is so thin that a test-fit with the Velrose slip has me doubting that it will be thick enough to completely remedy the inner-thigh silhouette visibility problem. However, this issue lies with the skirt and not the slip, and I'm very pleased with the quality and comfort of this product. I would recommend it to others and can see myself purchasing other Velrose skirts in different lengths.

When I ordered this slip I never received it. I was a little frustrated because I really wanted this for my see through maxi dresses and skirts. I contacted the company and they were so easy to work with! They sent me a new one. No extra charge and even gave me some of my money back for the delay. When I received it the fit is perfect!!! I'm a size 3/5 in pants, I ordered the small and the slip isn't loose at all. It fits some what tight one the butt which is good for tighter clothes and the bottom is looser so you aren't constricted in the legs. The beige is a little yellowish but once you open up the skirt completely that's when you can see its more of a beige color. I'm 5'6 and the slip comes right to my ankles which is just what I needed. Overall I'm so happy with this slip and will definitely buy the other two colors it comes in and I would recommend this product to others who are looking for something like this!

I’m a generally a size 14 (EU44/UK16) with a wider waist and narrow hips. Size L fits as the material is stretchable and the elastic waist gives quite a bit. I didn’t want the slip to be too loose/ have too much extra material around the hips for me as I thought it might add bulk, which I wouldn’t want for an undergarment. The material is thinner and lighter than I imagined, and is itself quite see-through, even for the black. I am still on the fence in whether to return it, but leaning more towards keeping. I like that the design is simple and no-frills literally, as most slips usually are.

Love that it has two slits. I now don't have to worry about which side my dress or skirt has a slit.Length is perfect.

Love this thing! I have it on right now. It is exactly as pictured. I'm 5/5 and by wearing it on my natural waist, it comes to just above my ankles, like the model in the picture. More importantly, the elastic on the waist is sooo comfortable; it's not so tight it will squish you too bad if you have a plush center like I do. I would definitely recommend this!

Basically what I was looking for, to wear under an Ann Taylor Loft maxi dress that bordered on being too sheer. The length worked out well for me, I'm 5'2, 130#, though I did have it pulled up to my natural waist, which is how the model is wearing it, so I guess that's the intention. Due to this, I don't think I'd like wearing it under my maxi skirts because they sit lower on the hips, but perhaps I can modify it to work. Very basic garment, did exactly what I wanted it to, had no problems, except with prime shipping, which was a day late, and the box was pretty beat up- but that's probably a UPS issue, and not in the hands of the seller. The price was right, Oddly, you can't find slips that aren't shape wear in department stores anymore. I guess they are falling by the wayside. Only 3 stars because there's nothing to it, nothing fancy, which is fine. It's lightweight, thin elastic waist band, very basic, looks cheap, but like I said, it does the job, without a lot of fuss, and maybe that's all you need.

Lovely slip. Perfect fit. It’s wonderful for long dresses and skirts. Keeps you protected from being overly exposed when dresses/skirts are rather sheer.

I had been looking in the local stores for underslips and all that I could find were shapers & undergarments I did not like. So, I went online to Amazon.com & found exactly what I was searching for. This product is one of three I purchased at Amazon.com. It fits perfectly & is long enough for me to wear under my maxi skirts. It also has a double slit where I can wear it with my skirts that has in the back or on the sides. It is a very good fitting underslip. I just love it.
