Works great!
This swim diaper is well made with a soft mesh lining on the inside. The pattern is cute and the 4 plastic snaps that go up one side are substantial but not too hard to snap and unsnap. It fits as expected, however my little one doesn't have chunky legs and there were no red markings or skin indentations as mentioned in other reviews. I bought the 12 month size diaper (went by weight not age recommended by other reviewers) according to the size chart provided on Amazon, but when received the tag on the diaper said 6-12 month. We didn't have any problems with the diaper in the salty ocean. It also kept out the sand from getting inside. You don't need to put it over a regular diaper when they're in the water. Haven't tried it in a pool with chlorine. I'm confident it will work just as well. I'd buy another for sure!

This is a very nice swim diaper
This is a very nice swim diaper. My 2-yr-old son has been using it all year, and still has plenty of fit in it. Compared to other cloth swim diapers, this one holds in quite a bit of water, so when he gets out of the pool and sits down, there is usually a stream of water that gets squeezed out. I don't really understand why there is any absorbency in this swim diaper (since swim diapers are not intended to hold water, but rather to catch poop), but it doesn't interfere with its function. Just don't let your kids sit on your lap after swimming in this if you don't want to get soaked from possible pee or else. (This swim diaper still absorbs a lot less than a regular disposable diaper would, and it doesn't contain any harmful chemicals or particles that could explode in the pool). I also wish that there would be snaps on both sides of the diaper (not just one), because taking off this diaper when it's wet and poopy is not fun. It is slightly easier than diaper pants without any snaps, but not as easy as disposable swim diapers.

My son turns 2 next week. He is tall and thin. He weighs 25lbs. He wears 18 month clothes in cat and jack and 18 month in carters. For sure, size up. 18 month would be way to small, so would 2t. We returned our 3t bc we thought it was too tight in the waist and that he would outgrow the legs quick. We kept the size 4t, BUT when he swam in these, they were too big. They would fill up with water and were heavy. We went back to getting the 3ts again and when he's in the water they fit great and aren't tight. If you need to, unbutton the top button of the swim bottoms. The 3ts never left a mark around the thigh that they were too tight. Out of water they seemed small, but in the water they loosened just right. The 3t was the smart choice.

Loveable swim diaper but runs very small imo
I enjoy using these swim diapers, we have bought them 3 times now but they are very small in size in our experience. I bought my 15 month old, 26lbs son a size 24 month and it was still too small, he was crying while I was trying to adjust it on him to see if maybe it wasn't on right from how tight it was. I understand it has to be tight to keep poop in but it's just difficult to size. Besides that it's beautiful, feels great, washes well in the washer and drier at home, and doesn't irritate my son's skin.

Works great!!!
My son is 12 months and fits in 12 month clothes, but I ordered the 18 month swim diaper, which was the right choice so that he can use it throughout the rest if this summer! It's just a little baggy in the butt, but other than that, fits snugly around his legs & waist. This is so much better than the disposable swim diapers! Doesn't hold water & is probably much more comfortable for my little guy! Def recommend!

Fit well and looked great. Have not faded much even though he swims ...
Colorful with cute designs. Fit well and looked great. Have not faded much even though he swims several times a week in the family pool. I found it easiest to put on if you snap the leg opening first and then have them step into it like a pair of a shorts. My grandson is 28 months and because he is a little on the small side I ordered him and 18 /24 month size and it fits perfectly even though it looks small for him. The elastic on the waist and the legs make it just the right snugness. They are very easy to clean and I was amazed by how clean they came out just from rinsing with a hose after an oops happened.. After it was washed in the washing machine, it came out looking brand new!! I have bought him 4 different cute designs and that is all he basically wears to swim in. All of the boxer type swim shorts we had tried were too big in the waist and long on his legs. These swim bottoms were also super soft on the inside and held a lot of water so don't forget to squeeze out the excess water when he's done so he doesn't soak your lap or his towel! This is a great product and I highly recommend it!! Happy swimming!

Works great - sizing a bit small even one size up
This works beautifully! It is snug around and I can't see it letting poop out. I have only used it twice, however. The side snaps are essential, particularly for getting it off! I had not realized it would have them and was pleasantly surprised. My son is firmly 2T, so I got a 3T. It is a bit small, however, even having gotten one size up. While it fits beautifully now, I'm not sure if it will be big enough come the end of July/August. He is not skinny but not chunky; if your child has skinny thighs and abdomen, this will work well. If your child is bigger, consider 2 sizes up. I don't know if a 4T would be too big for my son, though. Regardless, it fits now and he is happy in it. :)

Excellent Quality
Order these after hours of online browsing and trying to decide what style and fit would be best for my two-year-old. Ordered these in 2T and they fit him well with room to grow. He is a bit small but they stay on him well and should last at least a year for him. They are very soft and excellent quality, come with nice Packaging. He hasn't had an accident in them yet, but we have been enjoying swimming in them several times already! Colors are bright and vibrant and patterns are very cute!
