OK budget 'Velour' pads for your V6's
Unsure if real velour or not, I got these to replace a stolen pair of Beyedynamic pads for my Sony 7506's.These pads are comfortable, while a little rougher than the actual beyer pads. The foam is slightly less dense, which could be more comfortable to your preference.. I don't realize a difference in how the headphones fit, but sound...These pads LEAK like crazy. When compared to the beyerdynamic pads, These guys played music for the whole bus, not just me. Not really what I use headphones for. I'm no professional sound technician but my guess is the foam density makes the difference for isolation. Will be gifted to a beats user with a new pair of v6's cause, well its better than beats. Potatoes on a headband sounds better than beats.

MUCH more comfort, but more sound Leakage.
I got these replacement pads for my Sony MDR-7506 headphones. I bought the headphones a couple of days ago and was displeased with the small stock earcups. I do not have large ears but the headphones still didn't rest around the ear; they were resting on my ears. Plus, the stock rubber material earcups were very uncomfortable and made my ears sweat within an hour of use. I looked around for a solution and I thought I would give these velour pads a try. It's a night and day difference. These earcushions not only rest around my ears, but they are also extremely comfortable and don't make my ears sweat after minimal use. The only downside to immediately switching out the stock pads is that there is a noticeably larger amount of sound bleed with velour instead of the rubber material. With these velour earpads you will hear more of the environment around you, and the environment around you will hear more of what you are listening too. However, it isn't an outrageous amount of sound bleed and unless you are in a completely silent room, the bleed wont travel more than a couple feet. I think these would be fine for even a library type setting. I am the type of guy who is MORE than willing to sacrifice some sound leakage for a LOT more comfort. Get these velour ear cushions as soon possible, your ears and your bank account won't regret it!

This Video Producer Gives This Product TWO EARS UP!!
Rest your ears in the clouds with these velour padded ear cushions. I bought them for my Sony V6 Headphones after my second replacement Sony brand ear cushions began peeling and flaking after only a few months of use. (You'd think for their $100 price tad they'd last at least a few years.) The velour pads are extremely comfortable; somewhat lavish. Besides the softness of the material, I found the overall fit to be far more comfortable. I rarely feel any discomfort and when I do it's usually remedied by adjusting the positioning. I've only had them for about two months but they seem much sturdier that the Sony brand. It was pretty simple to install. There's a few YouTube videos out there that walk you through it. In short, I'm looking forward to several thousand more videos cut with these bad boys over my ears!!!

...but those pads tend to deliver deeper, and kinda softer bass.
Velour Padded Earcushions for Audio Technica Athm30, Sony Mdr7506 and V6 Headphones (Pair) Pros:Very well made.Low cost.Somewhat more comfortable than the original Sony V6 or 7506.Cons: They are not original Beyerdynamics pads for the HD250/280 (they fit well sony V6 and 7506) wich is softer, well ventilated, perfect size, but X2 the price ,and they tend to deliver softer/deeper bass. This pads are smaller that the original Sony and much warmer on the long run.Prologue: Don't get me wrong... they are OK and I'm happy with my choice. Overall this generic pads are good, not excellent - but GOOD!

The best ones I've come across for my sony headphones.
They fit Sony MDR-7506 headphones as well as the original earpads, and they feel slightly higher quality than the originals. However, they are fairly small, so they may not fit some ears, they can make your ears hot sometimes, and they tend to pick up all of the nasty residue on the side of your face (dead skin, hairs, dried sweat, ect...). They also compressed down quickly after I got them (so that my ear was being pressed right against the side of the headphones), but I found that you can easily solve that by packing tissues under the padding to lift it back up. They're the best solution for these headphones I've come across; there's only one star off for the slight design issues mentioned earlier in the review.

Great replacements for Sony mdr-v6
These are great replacements for my sony mdr-v6 headphones. The ear holes themselves are a bit smaller than the stock ones but nothing that would deter me from buying them again. They are comfortable and can be worn for hours without causing pain on my ears. I don't have small ears either, so I can say that about every earpiece I have worn. What I like about these over the stock ear pieces is these do not have that thin layer of plastic/pleather covering them as the covering on my original ones began to shed all over the place. I would definitely buy them again, but it may be a while as I expect these to last a long time.

Not a good fit for Sony 7506, or Audio tecnica phones.
These are too small for Sony MDR-7506 headphones. They will go on, but are much smaller than the original ones. This makes them incredibly tight to get on, to the point that I thought they would rip while I was installing them, and since the plastic that holds them on is stretched so much, I don't feel very confident they will last very long.ALSO: I am doubtful that they will fit the ATH-M50s. I have a pair of ATH-M40 which look about the same size as the M50 and these pads would not go on at all. They are way too small.

An excellent replacement
These replacement pads for my SONY MDR 7506 headphones made them like new again. I bought two pair. Well worth the money! Everything about these phones are great except the factory installed pads which are considered the inferior part of the product. I use these phones everyday and those old pads were shot! The new pads were simple to install too. I'm glad I found you. Thanks!
