but the measurements are pretty accurate so I would go with your actual waist ...
The back is not thick enough to be of supportive use. Also I went a little large afraid my actual waist size would be too small, but the measurements are pretty accurate so I would go with your actual waist size or the size you wear for pants. I will probably order the thicker back version, just jumped on this because it was dirt cheap but of limited usefulness.

It may cause cancer or reproductive harm.
It may cause cancer! There is a warning sign on the little tag and says may cause cancer because of Californiaโs Proposition 65. Shouldn't worry too much but they didn't state it on the description.

Easily broken in but not reccommended for weight over 405lbs
Decent belt but not for serious powerlifting. Main use is probably just for form because it doesen't really suppourt you compare it to an actual powerlifting belt such as an Inzer or toro. Easily broken in but not reccommended for weight over 405lbs.

Not necessary
I bought this when I started doing heavy, compound lifts. I realized that I don't need it. By using the belt it allows your core muscles to "take a break." I don't want them to take a break. My core muscles create their own belt. However, if you are in the market for a belt, or feel you need one, this one seems well constructed. Mine just hands from a hook on my wall. It is a decoration at this point.

Great durable belt.
Really like this belt only downsize is im down a couple of sizes since purchasing it about a year ago. It's a size large which is kind of loose, I'm a 34-36 waist size. I now use it primalily as a dip/pull up belt by adding a chain to it and it's held up good so far.

Cracks forming after a few minutes of using the product. Highly disappointing...
Just got it a few hour earlier today. Tried it out in front of the mirror and when I took it off I have seen some cracks forming as shown on the attached pictures. Highly disappointing...

Classic lifting belts!
Classic lifting belts! Firmly supports the lumbar region unlike other lifting belts out there. it has a thick padding too which makes sure that you are gonna execute deadlifts in peace.

Not built to last.
I've had the belt not two weeks, 5 workouts in and the belt is almost unusable. The quality of Valeo belts has gone down tremendously in the past five years - they now feel very cheap, stiff like plastic and not made for any serious lifting. I'm very disappointed with this belt and from here on out will be purchasing from Inzer or Rogue.
