Inexpensive and Works Well to Separate Lashes without Removing Mascara.
I have always associated mascara with clumps. That's one reason I declined to wear mascara until recently. But I'm getting older and my eyes could use a little lift. So, mascara. And clumps. My old plastic eyelash comb was inadequate to the task. I tried getting the clumps out with a spoolie, which takes so much stroking and combing that it also removes the mascara. So I went online to find something better. The Tweezerman Folding Eyelash Comb is lightweight and compact. It is 4.5 inches (11.5 cm) long unfolded and 3.5 inches (8.5 cm) long folded. It features 30 gold-plated metal spikes to comb through lashes, which are protected when the comb is folded. The spikes are sharp. I don't use the comb near the base of my lashes in order to steer clear of my eye. It would be nice to have a similar comb with a quality, brushed stainless steel handle, but the plastic handle on this comb is of reasonable quality considering the price point. Mine is Black; Clear and Pink are also available. I have long lashes, so the comb sometimes hits my brow when I comb the lashes upward. That can prick. But it separates lashes, removes clumps, and leaves the lashes looking great –without removing the mascara. I use tubing mascara, so it's not the worst example of clumping. Stuck-together and over-gooped eyelashes are still a problem, though. The Tweezerman comb fixes it. Lashes look great. Just be careful not to get the comb too close to your eyeball. Always use a mirror to avoid injury. Comb lashes before mascara has dried for the best results.

The Best Lash Comb
Tweezerman is a reputable brand so when I lost my lash comb I knew I had to re-order one asap. The teeth are metal and do a great job to separate lashes that may become clumped when applying mascara. I apply a coat of mascara, use the lash comb to separate then apply another coat. I do this as many times as it takes to get the look of fullness I want. It works like a charm. I recommend this product.

Absolutely worth the money
I don’t know where this has been all my life! I used to use the old dangerous approach of separating with a needle or a safety pin when I could be bothered. This is so simple and so fantastic. It is sharp, which is what it’s supposed to be. It does get dirty because mascara… I use the same product. I use to get off the mascara from my eyes on the eye separator, and it works perfectly. It’s small, extremely compact. And does what it’s supposed to do. If I had known these existed, I would’ve bought one a long time ago. And especially with aging eyes where things tend to get clumpy, it’s a game changer. I would definitely buy again.

Lash Comb
Great lash comb! Works well even on the heaviest of mascara. Only four stars because I find it's a little hard to clean, and after cleaning it too much the pieces start to fall out. But I'd buy it again, for the price.

I've had this iLashComb since 2010 and it's still terrific...
I've read a few reviews talking about rust. Mine hasn't rusted and I bought it in 2010. Mine is clear so I know it's not rusting inside either. It does wonders for my eyelashes, separating them and smoothing out clumps and distributing the mascara better than the wand can. Apply one coat of mascara on one eye (upper OR lower lashes) and comb. Repeat with other lashes. Do one coat of mascara on one "set" of eyelashes at a time (eg. upper OR lower) - it needs to be used while mascara is wet or it'll pull out your eyelashes. If you're doing a second coat be sure to comb in-between coats, and after the final coat. The teeth do come out but to me that's good for cleaning (and drying) purposes (just don't drop it in the drain). ;) It also works especially well on eyebrows when using "eyebrow mascara". Eyebrow "brushes" can remove/ruin/smear eyebrow mascara whereas this eyelash comb makes the brows look better (again, use it while the eyebrow mascara is still wet). The teeth are very sharp so you do have to be careful with it, use a delicate touch. If you have shaky hands then I wouldn't recommend it because of the risk of injury.

Metal teeth are closer together on the comb than all others I've tried
I bought at least four different eyelash combs before discovering this one and, by far, it's the best one of all! The little metal teeth are closer than all the others which is what I needed to remove mascara clumps. I love it so much I bought a second one for my travel bag. The size is perfect and very easy to use. Considering how much better it works than all the others I think it's a great value despite being a little more expensive. Definitely got what I paid for.

Great when it's not falling apart
When I first received this eyelash comb, I loved it. It does an amazing job separating the lashes and taking out clumps. The teeth, as indicated by other reviewers, are very sharp; this sharpness is what makes this comb so effective. However, on my first attempt to clean the brush (using a pulling motion) some of the teeth fell out! I didn't think much of it so I just slipped the teeth back in place and used it as usual. I have owned this comb for little over a year now and it's completely fallen apart. The plastic on this comb is very flimsy and prone to breaking. The comb head broke away from the handle and the teeth are falling out here and there. I bought the Real Techniques Lash/Brow Groomer as a replacement and although it is sturdier than this lash comb, it is not as effective at separating and de-clumping my lashes. The teeth on that comb are more dull and I have to work a lot harder to comb through my mascara. TL;DR Pros: - Great at separating lashes - Travel-friendly/Compact Cons: - Flimsy plastic; prone to breaking - Teeth will fall out

Perfekt(e Wimpern)

Estoy encantada.
