Fast, solid, and great for the bugout bag!
I like to think of myself as the Queen of budget buying. This has not always been the case, but due to retirement and being on a fixed income, I get to spend lots of time finding the best thing I can for the best price that doesn't make me say ... "will this mean I don't get to eat when I'm 87?" Well fortunately, this purchase may help with that. Because while I may not have the money to eat when I'm 87, I will have this knife, and will be able to take down rabbits and groundhogs with the spear I will be able to make from it. And then eat them. But I digress. My favorite knife was a Tekna divers knife that I had for many years and strapped it to my thigh or upper arm while ... no, not diving ... camping and hiking throughout the East coast and up into Canada. That knife was a beast. A solid hunk of stainless steel, serrated at the base, skeleton handle, and unbreakable ABS sheath with Velcro straps. Eventually I sold it to a nice guy in Hawaii who was buying it for his grandson whom he was teaching to dive. I'm sure that knife could capably rip through a sharks throat. A better use for it than just sitting around after I stopped camping and hiking as much. I found a Colt branded folder on closeout that I really liked. But I like it so much I didn't want to use it and mess it up. So it stays in a drawer. I have a few Mora knives that are awesome, but I needed a knife that would fold, open quickly, and not be a great loss if it got taken away by zealous authorities wanting to protect society from an elderly motorcycle-riding lady with a knife. So I got this knife. And it is great. Sharp. Pops open easily even with these mildly-arthritic hands. Locks securely. Not tiny, nor light, nor compact, that's for sure. But hey, when I reach into my pocket I can FIND it straight away, no doubts there. Just a great value and you know what? Survivalists say to have a stock of some items to trade for necessities you might not have in case of the zombie apocalypse. What could be MORE tradeable than a cool knife like this? Pop a half-dozen of these in that bugout bag!

Very Useful
I like this knife enough to keep buying it. I've lost a couple, gifted one, bought another color, and one had that needed to be replaced. Other than the latter, they've been sturdy and useful. One of them did fall apart. The screws worked loose and I didn't notice in time to tighten them. They've proven to have been sharp enough for every use so far. The blade size meets the local legal restrictions. The serrated edge is what drew me to this knife. There was an emergency situation in which I needed to cut myself free and I didn't have something like this with me. Now I keep this knife with me, conveniently clipped to my belt. It's a very cool looking knife. I have the rainbow and the black colored blades. I've found multiple uses, household repairs and DIY projects, opening and breaking down boxes, camping, and as an emergency tool while bicycle riding. It's a good idea to keep something like this with you while driving. Just in case of an accident when you may need to cut yourself free from a stuck seatbelt in a hurry or the glass breaker to free others from a vehicle.

Great purchase!
I bought these for myself and my female coworkers. We work at a private practice office and a lot of the time we leave late, because healthcare. We don’t have great lighting or cameras by the door where we exit and we’ve had issues with people loitering around that area. I have to say, these came quickly and they’re exactly as advertised. Not the cheap gas station pocket knife. These are a great durable metal with enough weight to it. I love that this also can bust the glass in a car and cut seat belts in case of accidents. And the pink is feminine enough for my girly girl coworkers. This definitely makes us feel safer to carry while walking to our vehicles in the evening!

A Great Knife Just Short from Perfect!
This knife is great! It comes with a partially Serrated Edge with a Blade Length reaching almost 3 1/2 inches (its 3 3/8's to be exact) and the handle itself being 4.5 Inches. The Open Assist feature is Solid. Its quick, and me personally I didn't have any problems with it. But like any open assist knife that you may have... If it struggles to open all the way, you should try putting some oil on it. That usually helps alot! I must say that the non-serrated Part of the blade is quite sharp and I was very pleased with it. However, for the Serrated part, even though its also quite sharp and does the job. I personally found it to be a little bit on the Exaggerated Side. Almost too much like a Saw Blade! I would have much preferred if the design of the Serration was a little more Finely Edged, or at the least, Angled more so that way you slice much easier when your cutting Rope. It still cuts rope decently but sometimes catches on the points of the serration. I could also assume the same issue may occur if for any reason you ever needed to cut a Seatbelt in an emergency situation. Now Although I'm just being picky, The serration is still a very sharp edge overall and you definitely shouldn't have much difficulty cutting small pieces of wood or anything to that caliber. So in the end I'm not disappointed. For the Window Smasher (Haven't Tested) it definitely seems like a sturdy piece and I have no doubt it will work because the piece is a pointy Stub on the bottom which is connected through the middle-back side of the handle which is held together by 3 bolts so I'm very convinced I wont see it failing. And of course, the Bottle Cap opener! Like many other reviews before me, that part definitely needs some work. Some people claim they can open their bottle without opening the blade. I unfortunately, was not able to... I had to open the blade at least 1/2 way in order to test it. It definitely does work but its no different than using a cheap opener that you may have at home. I definitely noticed one thing with the design and I feel that the company should have Put the Cap Opener on the back side of the handle (Like other knives with a seatbelt cutter) instead of the front. That shouldn't have been tough to do and that alone would have fixed the problem. Overall, even with my Nit picks about it, I still found this knife to be an awsome piece. It wasn't expensive! You can get it for around $10 which aint too shabby! I highly recommend this knife and I still use it as one of my usual EDC's. I do wish i could have given it 4 1/2 stars but I couldn't so I just gave it a 4 out 5!

Exceeded My Expectations
I just received my knife really fast which is awesome because I was told I would get it in 3-5 days but I got it in 2! I ordered it on a Thursday night & got it that Saturday afternoon. The box that the knife comes in is just a simple cardboard box, nothing fancy. But, when you open it & take the knife out you will definitely be impressed. It does not look or feel cheap at all. It looks & feels like a knife you would pay $30-50 for, in my opinion. At the top of the knife you'll notice a little piece that you push to open the knife. When I first tried it It stuck a little but after opening it a few times it flicks right open. It doesn't feel like it will get loose any time soon though but if it does you can just tighten it if you need to. Just like many other knives, under the blade there is a rigid piece that you push to the side to close the knife. On the back there is a clip so that you can clip your knife onto whatever you'd like to clip it on. I was really impressed with how sharp the knife is as well. Another reviewer said they would give the knife a 7/10 on sharpness & I agree. If there's is a con it would be that you can only use the bottle opener when the knife is open. That doesn't bother me but it might bother someone else. Just be cautious & you won't hurt yourself. There's also a part at the end of the knife that you would use if you need to break a window. Overall, I think this is a great buy. I loved it so much I bought my best friend one & now her dad wants one too. I can't wait to try it out when we hunt & fish. I would definitely recommend this knife & buy more TAC-Force products.

Worth it
I bought this and the TF-710, this knife (TF 705) is a great knife for very cheap. It opens easily for me (decently strong fingers) and the blade came pretty sharp (7/10) which is very good for an $8 knife. The only design flaw is the bottle opener can only be used with the knife open( not sure why you need this on a knife anyways). In comparison to the TF-710 (within $1 in price) if you're deciding. This knife has a little bit smoother deployment, is lighter and has quicker spring action than the TF 710. Although the TF 710 is heavier and a bit more intimidating (looks cool too), I would call this knife more of a quick deployed utility blade and the TF 710 a possible self defense blade. The TF-710 is a little rougher and not as polished, didn't come as sharp (5/10) although a quick sharpening will fix that, the finish wasn't as perfect but everything worked fine just a little longer pull on the spring deployment. The finish had little blemishes on close examination and the knife is a little loose but for $9 this is an amazing deal.. I like the seat belt cutter on the TF-710 and I have no real use for a bottle opener on my knife, I feel like both glass breakers work but I would be more comfortable using the the bigger TF-710's. I would rate this knife 5 stars for what it is, a great smooth spring assisted opening knife for cheap. I would give the TF-710 four stars for being just as great but a little less well polished even though it has more utility. The TF 705 can be closed with one hand, the TF 710 is a little too big for that and requires a second hand to close the blade. In summation, I will use the TF 710 on duty as an EMT, and the TF 705 for other times.

One of my favorite knives
One of my favorite knives. I've had this knife for 10 years and it still works great. Easy to open with one hand, sharp, good balance, and comes in handy for a multitude of tasks. I use it for camping, projects around the house, breaking down amazon boxes, and fishing to name a few. A few years back, I thought I lost it and Amazon no longer ships to NY State so I purchased another one through another site. The other one doesn't open quite as well as the original but still works great and luckily I found the original so now I have 2.

guter Preis, tolles Messer
