Shipped quickly .... in large box w/lots of packing. Unit is in a 10in x4in x22in box that is heavy. Top mount can swivel about -60deg and +20deg, reversible. Mounted on a crossbar 2x4 that I cut to fit the 15in between joists. Toe-nail these and end drill them with 4 square drive 3.5 in screws. Very stable. Fit the crossbar up in the joists so that the swivel mount is hidden. Just cut out a circle in the fiberglass ceiling panel and it looks neat. The swivel mount is attached to a adapter by one large 4in bolt and two 1.5in bolts and that's welded to the steel cylindrical tube. The steel tube is a double, one within another that extends almost 2x length, but I didn't extend at all since it's in the upper corner of the basement. I hung off the mount in the air to test the 2x4 crossbar ... so I'm confident it will hold my 37lb 32in 1080p LCD TV. The extra HDMI cable came in handy (7ft, not 6ft --- that's good). I'm using 3 out of 4 HDMI and was short one cable. Used only the 3 lag bolts to hold the swivel mount and then 4 washers and 4 small bolts to attach the 200mmx4 faceplate to the LCD TV. I'm left with a bunch of unneeded spacers, washers, bolts that I'll add to my hardware collection boxes. Glad I didn't need to hit the hardware store! I only needed a second person once: I found it easier to mount the faceplate to the LCD TV first, I hold the LCD TV and to have another person screw the large nut onto the end of the steel tube. I'd recommend this to anyone that needs a sturdy and flexible viewing mount!

Purchased one to mount a Samsung UN55MU6300 55" 4K Ultra HD Smart LED TV. Was pretty concerned about a number of things, including nuts, bolts, washers, and would the mount even fit the TV. Everything worked perfect. It installed like a dream. Rock solid feel. Could not be happier and for our application, anything $more$ complicated would have been a wa$te. Our application was inside a VERY tight compartment of an entire wall of shelves and entertainment compartments. Wanted the overhead mount for two major reasons. 1) The depth of the opening is quite shallow and using a stand would have been precarious. Last thing i want is the big screen getting knocked down. 2) The same tight fit and shallow depth of the opening makes rear access almost impossible with a stand. This mount solves both. Did have to cut the steel poles shorter to make it fit, but that was a simple adjustment. The very thorough and complete "connector package" had every conceivable bolt, nut, washer, etc. we needed. We live a long ways from a store and was super happy to not have some small part missing and keeping the project from getting done! The bolts/connector package alone makes this a 5-star purchase. (Remaining bolts/connector pack taped to cabinet, below the TV in photo.) Super secure and safe, easy to tilt and swivel for viewing and incredible easy rear cable access. Was able to do the install as a one person job, which surprised me. Overall, 5 stars without hesitation and really glad for this purchase!
