Love!! I am using it to replace my coffee. It works perfectly in my coffee maker and the taste is so nice. The caffeine is not jittery, just gives me a boost to move a little faster and get things done. My head is clear and I feel so good during the day! No crash at all!

I was looking for something that I could drink after work at around 4 p.m.to help me resist the urge to nap, for when I do, I end up staying up way too late. This of course leads to a vicious cycle of staying up late, being incredibly tired after work, napping, and repeating. You know that feeling of having wasted the day because you took a two-hour nap? "THIS MUST STOP!" I'd scream to the heavens. Drinking something as strong as coffee so late in the afternoon can have not-so-desirable results itself, so this Yerba Mate blend is exactly what I needed. Combining the many health benefits of Yerba, the enhanced focus and the mild energy boost it gives you, it provides a mild energy boost without making you wired and also while avoiding the often bitter taste of pure Yerba Mate. I mean, let's face it: that stuff can be pretty gross. The fact that you can prepare it in a coffee maker is an added bonus and makes this product just an all-around win for me. I'll add a bit of cream and sweeten it just a bit for a flavor that is not at all gag-inducing, like some other I've tried. It's hard to go wrong with this stuff.

This coffee alternative tasted decent hot, but after about a week I got bored of drinking it hot like regular coffee. I was drinking it black. I decided to cold brew it, and it tasted amazing. 10 times better than it was hot to me. The cold brew took away the bitterness, and made it smooth to drink. It just hits different and is absolutely delicious.

I never had yerba mate, but I heard some good things about it potentially being healthier than coffee, so I ordered this dark roast and a fresh green yerba mate tea of the same brand. Tbh, I don't really like the taste of this one as much as I'd hoped. The green one tastes better IMO. There's nothing really wrong with the product as far as I can tell. It does come packaged differently from the fresh green yerba mate, which also kinda weirded me out because it seemed like inconsistent packaging, so at first, I worried it could have been tampered with, but I don't think it was. I think these 2 products just come packaged slightly differently, but there's nothing really wrong with the tea. The dark roast yerba mate just tastes and smells a bit too bitter for my taste. The fresh green yerba mate smells like some smelly old grass, but it actually does not taste bad. The dark roast smells a LOT more bitter and also tasted significantly more bitter. I have to mix the dark roast with coffee to make it more tolerable, but the green one is better IMO. I'm not ordering this particular variety of yerba mate again. I don't consider myself a picky eater and will eat and drink almost any type of food (including this since I purchased it, but I'm not too fond of it). I really don't recommend this unless you like very bitter food and drinks. This is one of the most bitter food/drink items I've ever had.

I recently bought this dark roast mate to try and kick my allday black coffee drinking habit. This stuff is great! Very similar taste to coffee with a spicy little kick. Very good! I also purchased regular yerba mate and you can see it in the "gourd" in my pic next to this dark roast mate that i made in coffee pot, The regular yerba mate is not bad, its just very grassy/hay tasting. Im in the US and never tried yerba mate before but do drink alot of other teas and drinks from around the world.... black teas, green teas, kava , kratom, etc..... Ive been told I would drink or eat anything - but regular yerba mate just isnt for me. I could see myself enjoying it eventually if I stuck at it to develop a pallete for it but dont think I will since this Dark Roast yerba mate right here is so good and already replaced coffee for me. I just wish it came in the large kilo bags, I dont think this will last me very long.

I never want to be without this coffee replacement. My new morning go to and works better than coffee for me for clarity and focus.

I got this tea because it's good for your brain function. And I got the smoked because I wanted a slightly different flavor. I do drink a lot of yeramate and matcha black and green teas. So adding the smoked flavor gives me a little more variety and is very pleasant. The laphsong soushong that I normally drink is smoked is a lot stronger, smelling and tasting stronger than this one. This one is a mild smoke.
