Mediaxpo 10 Clear 6 Disc DVD Cases

Over the past couple of years, my wife has received a season or two of The Gilmore Girls, for birthdays, Christmas, etc. She loves the show, but the discs come in these flip cases (basically, same style as this product here). The only problem is that the cases are either cheaply made or really go through the riot act in shipping, where the little nubs that hold the "flipper" get broken. So, I started looking for a replacement. I could probably just send them back for this, but it would get to where I may be doing this more than once and it just seemed easier to replace them, for two reasons: since they're gifts for my wife, I tend to not even notice the issue, myself, until it's too late to exchange (it bothers me more than her, basically - plus, I'm the one who is giving them, so it just seems right to make it right); the cases are pretty reasonable and have come in handy on a few occasions, not to mention that I have a couple of series that are only in sleeves, so I'll probably be transferring them to a case now.All in all, these cases work great. They're made from sturdy and durable plastic, a much better product than what the studio used, in my case. Since we only had a few cases that were damaged in shipping (however, that's about half of the seasons), we still have plenty of cases when needed. I will watch as she uses these over time and will add to the review if anything changes - or doesn't.

I bought these like some other people have stated, because I bought a box set of videos from Warner Brothers studios. I bought directly from the studio thinking the product would be a good value. That the packing would be good and solid. What I got upon opening the box was bits and pieces of every single dvd case. Every single case inside was smashed and DVD’s were floating around loose inside the box and clearly scratched up. After sending pictures as proof of what happened they did send a replacement set. Since these were a Gift for my daughter I didn’t want the same thing to happen when I shipped them to her so I purchased this set of DVD cases and switched them all out. From the minute I opened the new cases it was obvious they were a much better case. More sturdy and thicker. Very happy with this purchase and would recommend if your looking to safely store your DVD collection.

I ordered a ten pack. When the product arrived, one of the ten was unusable. It was broken. Aside from that the other nine were intact. Since I expected that some might arrive broken after reading other reviews, I was not disappointed. I would have preferred 14 mm, but this will do.

Not what I wanted ! Dvds lay on each other, reviews said they did not layer dvd. Silly me I believed them. These are probably durable and none arrived broken which is good. However many other cases offered by Amazon do layer and it is shone clearly that they do. I wish this product was marked clearly, I never would have bought them if they had. Not a happy customer.

I got these to replace the the box sets of some of my anime collection with something a lot slimmer. Overall, the only problem I have with these cases is the back-side of the nubs in the two middle pieces. The plastic feels really rough, like it may scratch the DVD. You'll also run across uneven grips from the nubs. Normally it feels just right, but I've had a couple of instances where the grip felt a bit loose and a couple where it was an absolute ***** to get the DVD on and off.Thanks to my clumsiness, all of this has proven not to be a cause for concern. Two falls from 6 feet to the floor and not a single scratch, DVD jarred loose, nor broken case.

Ever order something online and have that anxiety while you wait - wondering if the product will be exactly what you hope it will? Well, don't worry if you order these DVD cases. They are EXACTLY what I wanted/needed.Thse cases are as described - clear soft plastic (not brittle; with a sleeve for artwork. Each DVD is set in the case individually, so no DVD sits on top of another. For those (like me) who are metrically challenged, the cases measure 7 1/2 in. (Ht) x 5 3/8 in (wd) x 7/8 in. (depth).Ordered these to replace cases from seasons of the New Outer Limits (Canadian only released seasons 2-7) which came in the worst possible packaging for protecting your discs. I simply put the DVDs in this new case; scanned the box artwork (in one piece); trimmed it slightly; and then slipped the artwork into the the sleeve in the replacement cases. Now confident that my DVDs will be protected and safely stored together.Great product - Exactly what I was hoping for. HIGHLY recommend!

I only needed one of these cases for a 6 disc studio ghibli collection I got for my girlfriend. The cases are heavy duty and having ba separate space for each disc is way better than having them lay across each other like some of the other cases like this. The only thing I'm weary about is when I go to pull a disc out, the center part holds onto the disc really well (might be a tad bit too big). The discs themselves might also just be flimsy. Overall I don't regret anything about this purchase.The only advice I can give is when you place the disc or remove it, take precaution and maybe press down the center of the tray because it might be too tight otherwise. Overall it does the job it's meant for fairly well. Probably the best option available, but I haven't tried the others.

Maybe the plastic insert on the outside of the case should be closed at the bottom to keep any paper inserts from falling out. other than that, they were very useful in condensing the storage space on my shelves. You should offer, however, a smaller amount of them in one package for those who don't need 10 all the time
