Ball Pint Jar, Regular Mouth, Set of 12, (16 oz)

This is a great priced set of a dozen pint-sized Mason Jars. These jars are super versatile, perfect for DIYs and various uses. As containers, I wouldn't suggest using these to store daily use items than require the top to be opened access. The jars have a dual lid like most Mason Jars with one screw on top and a circular disk that's held in place by the screw-on top. This makes it a little hard to open and close on a daily basis, I have found it more useful to use these with just the screw-on top which I use as decoration as you can see in my pictures. They make great and customizable toothbrush holders as well as paint brush holders. I've even used these to storing both salt and soap, anything you can attach a pump/opening to and use without taking off the top. I've also used them as place settings filled with flowers, candle holders, cute drink glasses & as a simple succulent planter. Seriously, once you start DIYing with mason jars, it's hard to stop! Bell is well known for this type of jar. The quality is always good. You can buy them every where in all sizes. I like buying them on Amazon just so I didn't have to lug them home. They arrived in perfect shape. I like this size for filling with cookies for gift for people like the mail person, our realtor, or anyone else I'd like to give a small thank you to. If you like to give out dry cookie mixes as a gift, It is hard to find cookie mix recipes for this size jar. That was what I was goimg to do, but reslized they were smaller then the ones most people give out and write recipes for. So I baked and filled them with cookies. They are a good size for a manicure kit, or something like that. I'm sure they are great for giving away jellies and jams in, very generous for that. I just don't can or make jelly. They'd be great to fill with a hand scrub and give away along other with other like items as a gift. I also use them to fill with cut veggies and salad green. I make salads on Monday for lunches and they are good all week stored as 35 degrees in the fridge. So very useful.

I admit that I chose these mason jars over other brands and styles purely for their visual appeal. Other reviewers had mentioned that the manufacturing quality left something to be desired, but they are working perfectly for me with no cracks or broken seals. The instructions clearly say that they're not for freezing, but I've stuck them in the freezer without problems (but always careful to leave some headroom and freeze at first without closing the lid all the way). These are my first ever mason jars with this type of lid, and I'm not sure how other brands last, but the metal lids and rings are very quick to rust, so I've learned that I have to hand dry them immediately after washing. I've also since found that my local supermarket carries this exact product for a cheaper price, so I would recommend checking yours if you want to save a few bucks.

I remember what it was like when there was a canning jar shortage during the pandemic, so I invested in Tattler lids and gaskets that I can reuse over and over again and did an assessment of the jars I have on hand. I bought six cases of these to go with my regular mouth Tattlers, and they all arrived safe and sound. Normally, I buy wide mouth pints, but they are as much as three times as expensive as these were. I’m just glad to know I’ve got these ahead of any future shortage.

Liked the qulity of the bottles, ease of cleaning and good size

I have done canning, crafts, and more with Mason Jars. I am not thoroughly pleased with these for their intended purpose. Ball Corp has managed to produce low quality jars and lids all of a sudden. The glass is thinner the lids come jammed onto the jars, less reusability. not suitable for storing These jars have always been a durable product. Till now. With that being said.... As containers, I would suggest using these to store daily items such as pens, paper clips, etc. I have stored flour and sugar in these, as well as coffee grounds, rice, etc. They look nicer than the boxes from the store. We also use them as our glassware, for drinking. I've also used them as place settings filled with flowers, candle holders,etc. The possibilities are truly endless. I love these jars for quantity and price. They are a great size I'll definitely be ordering them

Good product. Got dinged in shipping on the lids. Not broken though.

I was tired of having mismatched cups and glasses. These were the perfect solution to my problem. They all arrived in perfect condition. I did have to run them through the dishwasher before I used them... they had a foul odor, but that's not a big deal at all. I haven't thought of using them for jarring fruit or anything, but when I was taking the lids off of them I did notice that they were sealed very tightly.. so I'm sure if I ever wanted to jar or can with them that I could. But they work perfectly for cups. I love to measure out my adult drinks. So if I want to I can use them to get an approximate measure. Also, guests love the surprise and fun of drinking out of something other than everyday normal glasses. Makes having a glass of water.....fun. They also fit in my slender cupboard without wasting any space, unlike a normal chalice shaped glass would.

Jarden took over Ball jars and continue to make it on the USA.Quality is amazing.Thick glass,name on both sides,has a measurement level and the lid is a quality rubber seal.I can see this lasting for a years without changing the rubber seal.The lid is durable and it twist on very tight.No need to look for other mason jars Ball is the best.

Arrivati puntualissimi e in perfette condizioni ben imballati. L'unica cosa è che non c'è scritto sopra Ball bensì Kerr. Non so se è proprio una marca diversa...

Très beaux pots, et pratiques avec leurs couvercles qui se détachent et bien hermétiques. Je recomande, c'est de la qualité et pas facile à trouver en France.
