I was first introduced to this product by a clinical nutritionist in a health food store. I had hypoglycemic symptoms and he suggested I increase my protein I'm my diet but this one was best because of the rice protein base which is better than having processed soy like others or whey which I'm allergic to cause it's fermented. This powder made such a difference in balancing my blood sugar. I use it every morning with almond milk and banana. It's yummy and blends perfectly. It's great for me adding to my well balanced diet giving my body superior healthy protein!

I have had whey protein in the past and actually enjoyed it. When I read the reviews for this rice protein, I chalked it up to the reviewers being picky eaters. Boy was I wrong! It does taste chalky and settles to the bottom of your glass - not chocolatey at all. Luckily I purchased it to mix into smoothies. I just add an extra tablespoon of unsweetened cocoa powder to them and I can barely taste it. If you are expecting this to taste like Nesle Quick, you will be very disappointed! If you are mixing it with other ingredients, give it a try.

This protein I highly recommend, it's a light taste and kind of blah tasting but it's very easily digestable and it can be mixed with just about anything, just add some Stevia sweetner and you're good to go.

Good product, clean ingredient profile and the taste isn't horrible. However, it is not sweetened at all as you can probably see from the ingredients list. You can still drink it mixed with just water as it has a strong chocolate flavor, it's just not sweet. I add a packet of stevia to it to add a little sweetness to it. If you are mixing it with milk or something that has sugar in it, you probably won;t need to add anything. It is a bit gritty so if you are used to whey protein it will seem different.

I cannot eat soy or whey. So what's left? As a senior, protein is an important part of my diet. So I have been using this product almost daily for about 7 years. What people say in other reviews is true. You do have to shake it for several minutes to get it to dissolve. And the taste is not going to get on any gourmet lists anytime soon. So what? I don't love it, but I need it. Another advantage is that this product is reasonable in calorie and protein content. I am glad that they do not load it up with anti-clumping stuff. That is usually inulin. Anyone allergic to ragweed is also allergic to inulin (chicory), which is about 40% of the population. It's hard to find so-called health foods of any kind that are inulin-free. Another advantage is that it shelf-stable, convenient to keep. I buy it in bulk twice a year, put it into smaller, air-tight jars, and it keeps just fine. Also, if I bought from local stores or from the Nutribiotic site itself, I could not afford it. As long as this product qualifies for free shipping from Amazon, I can use it. .I am more fussy about my wallet than I am about shaking the product for a few minutes. This product, contrary to internet posts from several years ago, is safe. In 2011, claims were made that it tested with high lead levels. So I had my blood tested for lead before ordering. No problem. So, use it in good health!

This is...not good. I was hoping for something to use with smoothies, as a meal replacement or snack. I was very excited because this had no fructose, stevia (ew), sucralose, etc. The first few attempts of using it were undrinkable. It's super-bland, and unless you add lots of other things to flavor, it's really gross and doesn't taste good at all (to my tastebuds anyway). It's also VERY gritty and no amount of blending it on my vitamix got rid of that. I finally found a concoction I can drink, so I don't think I'll return it (1 cup of whole milk, 1 Tbsp of this stuff, 1 Tbsp of raw cocoa, a dollop of grade B maple syrup and blend the SH-T out of it, probably would be good with a banana in there too but I'm out). I am very disappointed though. It's gross and I definitely won't buy it again, nor would I recommend anyone else to do so.

Great Texture, Mixes well, Amino acid profile is awesome. Cheap too! I recommend this to anyone who wants to get their nutrition in a healthy manner. This is better than whey too! No bloat, no acne, no back acne, no ingestion, no cholesterol. I mix this with peanut butter/almond milk/ cinnamon/phylium fiber for lunch each day and its really helping me lose weight. im also very active. I recommend this to vegans, to bodybuilders, and to anyone just looking to live a healthier lifestyle. I will buy this for the rest of my life!

I used this stuff for years and just loved it. The flavor was great to me. I’d mix it with bananas, unsweetened coconut milk and no sugar almond butter. Unfortunately, I had to stop because of the warning on the back that it may cause reproductive harm. My husband and I are trying to conceive and it was really disappointing to find out my favorite protein has some chemical in it that will cause birth defects and reproductive harm.
