I absolutely LOVE this blanket!! It's nice and big, it's super soft and it heats up and makes the night chills disappear. I also love how it has 2 heat zones so that I can set my comfort level and my girlfriend can set hers. I wish that I could give it more than just 5 stars, really...

I got this as a gift for my girlfriend for Christmas last year. Every time we have a cold front come in, she practically BEGS me to put it on the bed. And I have to remind her that the weather is going to get hot again in just a couple days and she gets really sad. Sometimes I think she loves this blanket more than she does me.Now that winter has come, there's a little twinkle in her eye because she knows that she gets to use it again. See, she seems to have a resting body temperature of around -25 degrees. Problem is, I seem to burn up with incredible ease. So having dual controls make this blanket very desirable compared to others I looked at. It also has an auto-off feature, should you decide that you don't want to physically turn it off when you're about melted. Additionally, it has a preheat function. I particularly like that because it makes me seem like an even better boyfriend because it reduces the amount of time that she has to freeze before coming to bed.Overall, this blanket is outstanding and I'd recommend it to anyone who wants to bake themselves at night.

Wish It Was Like My Last Sunbeam Blanket With A Lighted Digital Temp Setting. This One Has Dial Select Temp That Cant Be Seen In The Dark. Anyway, It's Got All Of The Comforts And Performance Of My Other One, So I'll Buy It Again In Time To Come.

Love it! Large temp range but I start on high. Only problem is it does slip around and away from me as the fabric does not stay in place all night like a wool blanket. My old sunbeam was a different more wool like blanket and stayed in Place. I find my duvet and sheet in place and the electric blanket balled up between my husband and me! Annoying.

Soft, but very warm! Only buy it if you sleep with a house temp under 68 degreesMy wife and I sleep in thin nightgowns, but we roasted with temp OFF!We just use the preheat, and turn it off when warms up, but still woke up a few hours later sweating.

I really compared and read up on this blanket before I purchased it. I did not want to be disappointed and my researched paid off! First, there are a few Sunbeam heated blankets, but this one states "Luxurious Velvet Plush" not sure if there's a difference from the others, but I didn't want to take a chance. Received it and I am soooooo pleased that it feels just as it was described. It's super soft and feels wonderful on my skin. It warms right up and I even had to turn it down because I was beginning to bake myself. But, this will definitely allow me to save $ on my gas bill and still be nice and toasty at night or when I'm lounging watching TV. Some of the reviews complained that you can feel the wires inside or that there's a rough stitched edge on this blanket. Yes, both of these are true, but it doesn't change how great this blanket is for me. I'm a practical person, so I simply fold the rough edge down or put it at the bottom - no problem. As far as feeling the wires inside - it's really not THAT noticeable. Seriously. I went to a few stores but found this was the absolute best one available. I love it. The final test will be to see how long it lasts and how it washes. So, I will update this review when I have more information to share. But, so far, this one's a winner! :-)***STOPPED WORKING ALREADY*** I'm so disappointed. It's the middle of the night and I'm so upset I got up to change my review. I haven't even had this blanket a year and it has stopped working already. I have not had to wash it and it hasn't been used a whole lot. I never even lay on top of it.

This blanket is great when you first get it, but after a couple of winters it doesn't get as hot until finally it stops heating up at all. When I was younger, I remember electric blankets lasting a long time. These modern blankets force you into a loop of re-buying them over and over again after just a few years. It's wack.

I like the color. The blanket is heavier than previous ones I have used eliminating the need for additional covers. The controls have been a little difficult to get used to, and I have trouble managing them in the dark.

Arrived before expected.Looks good,but haven't tried it out yet.Hope it turns out as well as expected.
