Absolutely Fantastic!
This set is fabulous! I just discovered a complete album on disk 5 that was never released. It's called "One For The Boys" and it's a salute to the great male singers. This is a treasure for me because I try to collect every Connie Francis album, etc....She is a true joy!!! Love the lady.

A WONDERFUL 5-CD SET FROM CONNIE FRANCIS
This 5-CD set from Connie Francis is a wonderful collection of her many hit records and hard-to-find recordings. Connie can belt out any song, whether it is rock n' roll, a ballad, a jazz number, or country tune. These songs by Connie demonstrate why she has always remained a top female vocalist.

Nice 50's Pop!
Connie Francis is one of the best Fifties Pop products! Her voice was fabulous, so she could sing everything from , Country, Rock 'n' Roll, Teen Ballads to Traditional Pop.On these five CD set you'll find everything she recorded in fifties. Only disc four is Rock 'n' Roll, mostly covers which are sometimes better than originals. Nice booklet, too!

Are you satisfied?
There's much to enjoy about this very extensive collection of Connie Francis recordings. 'White Sox, Pink Lipstick... And Stupid Cupid' from Bear Family Records brings you 134 recordings across 5 discs from the 1950s. These compile Connie's most famous hits, flops, duets, rare performances, alternate takes and even a couple of duets.Connie Francis had already been recording for quite some time before her massive hit 'Who's Sorry Now'. Unfortunately, the songs recorded prior to this weren't a success and it was with the push of her father that this song got recorded. Connie Francis has always said that she didn't want to record it, which makes it even more amazing that it was such a big hit. This set brings these earlier (and sometimes rarer) recordings which sometimes get overlooked as well as the hits 'Stupid Cupid' and 'Fallin'' to name a few. There are also some very good cover recordings of 'Hallelujah I Love Him So', 'You Always Hurt The One You Love' and 'Tweedle Dee' to name a few, with the latter being one of a few interesting Rock 'n' Roll covers which includes covers of songs by Fats Domino, Elvis Presley and The Everly Brothers. Also included is a big booklet with many rare images of Connie Francis, plenty of reading material and also the recording details which to collectors will be appreciated. An honest comment would be that I was expecting a little more Rock 'n' Roll overall, but there's plenty of fine Pop and Ballads within this collection of songs so I'm not disappointed in the slightest, this was just what I was expecting as Connie Francis often appears on Rock 'n' Roll compilations. An additional Bear Family box set follows on from this, and judging by the presentation and quality of this one it should be a good one too.If you're a fan of Connie Francis, then this is an excellent set for your collection. It might be a little too much for someone looking for an introduction to Connie Francis, especially considering the price that these are selling for though. However, you get what you pay for so paying a little extra might be the case if you're a fan.
