The battery charges quickly and lasts an ok amount of time its not as good as the battery that came with my camera which was name brand but it was a fraction of the price and worth it. If it is left unused for a few months it will likely lose its charge but thats not really a concern for me because I just recharge it whenever I know I'm going to be using my camera. I mainly use my camera to record speed paintings and it drains the battery pretty quickly but I bought 2 extra so that I can charge 2 batteries while I paint and now I Have no Problems with having to wait for my battery to charge. Ive had mine for about 6 months now and they still work just fine. they also arrived quickly.

I was a little skeptical about buying a brand of battery that wasn't the same as the camera, but this one was so much cheaper! I really bought this for the charger, since I misplaced the one that came with the camera. This charger works with the Sony battery that came with the camera, as well as the one included. This battery seemed to have a slightly shorter life than the Sony one, but that could just be the way I was using the camera. It still gave us plenty of run time. I've only used this new battery through two charge cycles, so if I have any problems later on, I will update the review

I purchased this battery + charger kit to have a second battery for my camera. I don't use my camera super frequently, so it often stays in a shelf for weeks. I noticed that this battery, as opposed to Sony's original battery, drains when it's not in use. In two weeks, the battery went from 100% to 37%, whereas Sony's battery was still at 100%. Which can be quite inconvenient because it means that you have to plan ahead when you are going to use the camera and charge the battery the day before.Edit: After just a few full charges (maybe 5 or so), the battery only charges up to 75% capacity and drains faster than usual when the camera is being used. So, while I would recommend the charger, the battery itself is not up to par.

Bought this for my Sony A6300. The battery and charger work as they should! Battery fits into the camera with no more effort than the OEM and the charger doesn't take long to get to a full charge. I haven't had a chance to use the car charger yet, but it appears as if it will work just fine. I always like to run the battery fully down to dead before charging all the way up the first time I use one. I find that it helps them last longer. For the price difference over buying another original battery, this is well worth the cost!

I bought this for my Sony Alpha 3000 before it included the car charger, but I'm still very happy with my purchase.I really didn't want to plug the camera in to charge the battery, so I looked for an affordable solution. This unit fit the bill neatly. The fact that this came with a spare battery was icing on the cake. This charger is compatible with the NP-FW50 battery -- READ YOUR BATTERY CAREFULLY BEFORE PURCHASING! I nearly bought a kit for the NP-FV50, and that single-letter is the difference between whether it will work for your camera or not!I got the charger and a "DSTE" brand battery rated at 7.4V, 1950 mAh / 14.4 Wh -- compared to Sony's 7.2V, 1080 mAh / 7.3 to 7.7 Wh stock battery. The extra 0.2V have not caused any issues (I am attributing the difference to variables with measuring instruments used). It lasts at least as long as the Sony battery -- I have yet to fully discharge either in the field -- and I've had absolutely no issues charging it or the Sony battery with the charger. The "charge" light is orange while charging and changes to green when it is completed. The two-pronged North American plug folds neatly into the unit when not in use, and it stows away compactly in my camera bag.It's unfortunate I did not time my purchase to get the additional car charger, but mine does have the plug in the top in case I find something compatible. As I have no particular plans to charge it in the car, it doesn't greatly concern me. Again, if I find I may need it, I can plan ahead and buy something separately (such as a power converter with a standard 3-prong outlet).

Bought 2 of these set last september, both i gave it as a gift .I gave one to my sister which i sent overseas. She was on a trip and was excited to use this with her new Sony A6000 emount camera. She did not bother to bring the original cable of my camera because she wanted to try the charger with the extra battery. For whatever bizarre reason the charger just popped open and can not charge anymore even the green light was lighted..she tired charging the battery with the popped charger but it did not work... She charged the battery with another charger. She hated this charger. It sucked because of the poor quality. She ended up buying a new charger! my money got wasted because it will be too expensive for her to return the item via courier overseas.

In the image it shows battery is 1700mAH, but I received 1950mAH.I am able to take more pictures than the Sony original battery, shows battery level on LCD.Charger is very good and it even charges the sony original battery. No issues so far... great product... I recommend to any one who is looking for a back up for their cameras. I am using this on NEX 6 camera.Cons:It does not come with a car charger, they should add an option to buy with car charger. But I still rate 5 as the product is good.

I bought this to use with my nex sony camera. I am always paranoid I will run out of battery, so a spare battery was a must have!The fact that this battery charger came with the car charger was a huge plus for me, so if the worst happened and both batteries ran low or if I forgot to charge one, I could charge in the car while driving.So far I have yet to have any problem with this brand. The battery holds charge well and is fairly quick to charge up.I would buy this again.
