These are excellent for keeping track of your luggage in a crowded situation and for color-coding luggage among family members. I had an idea that they would be convenient, but I didn't fully realize HOW convenient they would be until I traveled with them on a multi-week, multi-stop trip to Europe with a family of five. They were fantastic. You know all those times when you have to grab your luggage fast? I'm talking about those times when you're grabbing your suitcase from the airport parking shuttle, or from the luggage compartment of a bus, or from the baggage claim conveyer belt, or from the luggage room of a crowded ferry which is only making a 2-minute stop at the dock, or from the overloaded luggage racks of a train car... when you're exhausted and surrounded by other bleary-eyed, anxious people all jostling to grab similar-sized black or blue suitcases... at those times, a brightly-colored handle on YOUR suitcase will be a lifesaver. You barely need to think. Just grab your handle and get out of the crowd! And when you arrive at your destination with your other family members, there is no searching for that scratch or ding or sticker that distinguishes one from another, no bending over to squint at a name tag with jet-lagged eyes, no unzipping each suitcase a little bit to peek inside to see whose is whose. Instead, everyone has their own color and the suitcases immediately go to their proper owners. These may sound like small things, but when you multiply these conveniences by the dozens of times you need to move all your pieces of luggage and sort them to the right people, over the course of an entire trip, the convenience is *very* significant indeed. As an added benefit, I find the handles comfortable. And on my suitcase (Samson Silhouette Sphere 2 21-inch spinner) the extra layer does not make the suitcase's handle so thick that I can't get my hand through. With no colorful handle, the gap between my suitcase's handle and the suitcase itself is about 0.75" at rest. When I put the handle on, the gap narrows to 0.5", but this is still wide enough for me to get my fingers through comfortably. And more, the colorful handle is itself soft and compressible, and the suitcase handle itself has some flex, so when I pull on the handle the gap widens to 0.75". No problem. The quantity of Velcro is also significant: it is 1" wide and it goes the full length of the handle. The result is that when you Velcro it on it is quite secure. In fact, getting it off takes a focused effort as you are basically peeling apart a 5" x 1" piece of Velcro from the long side. It's not going to fall off, or get rubbed off, during normal handling. The luggage ID tags that come with the handles are fine, but not great. The plastic card holder and the plastic loop have held up well on multiple trips, no complaints there. However, I didn't like the layout of the paper card that came with the tags so I made my own out of index cards. And more worrisome to me, the paper card is open to the air. There is no clear plastic window over the printed part of the card, which means that if you hand-write your luggage tags (like I do) and they get rained on, the ink will run. To counter this I made my own plastic covers by cutting rectangles out of freezer-weight ziplock bags and sliding them in to the plastic holder over the handwritten card. This has held up fine on several trips. (Any other thin, clear plastic with some rigidity would work well too -- a transparency sheet, clear binder divider etc. I made a few covers out of regular-weight ziplock bags but these were too thin and supple, so they tended to pop out of the plastic frame, especially if they were rubbed in transit, so I replaced them with heavy-duty freezer ones).

Since everyone’s luggage looks the same in an airport I decided to try something other than ribbon. Once I got these I realized I could put our last name on them too (with my home embroidery machine). I put them on our luggage first of course and they fit nicely. Taking a trip soon so I’m anxious to try them out. I’ll update my review if needed. Edited to add that we used these on a recent flight to Florida and they worked great. I was able to see my luggage quickly and they stayed on all. I am glad I personalized them that was just an added benefit to me.

This is an great price for a must have item. I purchased the 7 pack which cost me $1.86 each I was going to make my own until I came across this treasure. Can’t beat this price. The Velcro and material are good quality. I am glad I didn’t listen to the negative people. LOL on few complaints on color. No color is going to be exact on a screen being monitor and house lighting are different. The colors are not too far off as you can see in my photo. This is a must have item you need. who the heck cares about the color being a tad off. If you ever lost your luggage you will know what I am talking about. I know this item will save me a lot of money ,time and stress. I recently flew home after Christmas and it was a madhouse at the airport baggage carousel. I saw this girl take my luggage and I went to tell her but then another luggage like mine was coming down so I let it go. BIG MISTAKE! I go to pull that luggage off the carousel and notice a different name on the tag. Turn around and the girl is gone. After a bit the monitor say all baggage was delivered. The bag that looked exactly like mine was still there. I realized she grab my luggage thinking it was hers. I grabbed a worker and he took her luggage to his office and tried to call her but her phone goes to voice mail and he can’t leave a message cause her message are full. So he sends her an email. I go home with no luggage. The next morning I tried calling Allegiant airlines and the phx/mesa airport and couldn’t get a hold of a human. Finally at noon they called to say she brought my luggage back and I could come get it. Which is an hour drive each way. The good news is everything was in my luggage. I am hoping with these wraps that if someone grabs my luggage again they will see my name on top and on the side of my luggage. I choose the black and put a foil heat vinyl for my name. the picture I show don’t do it justice it really came out beautiful. I included my phone number inside the wrap using my cricuit machine. You can use a permanent marker. I also purchased an Apple Airtag. Hopefully I will not experience this ever again. Please before you leave the airport check if your name is on the white tag that the airline put on your luggage. It take less than 2 mins. I do hope by me sharing my story that you will never have to go through this.

I have 3 different sized luggage & they fit on the handles perfectly fine. I was able to spot my luggage right away & they did provide some comfort in lifting my heavy luggage. A couple downsides to this product - 1, it gets dirty pretty easily. If your airline is not known to be super careful with checked in bags, then be prepared to have some dirt marks on it. 2. Although there is velcro all the way along the wrap, it's not super difficult to remove the strap from your luggage handles. With that being said, anyone can come along & just remove the strap from your luggage. I've used these once on a domestic flight & I really like them so far. I'm going to use them on my next international flight & hoping #2 doesn't happen.

I was looking for something that would help me identify my suitcase more easily at baggage claim. I started off looking at colorful luggage tags. When did luggage tags get so expensive? My suitcases already have built in id cards so the tags really weren't needed. I kept looking and came across these. I used them two weeks ago on a business trip. They worked great. They are soft to grasp. They were a tight fight around the handle on my big suitcase, but I stretched it around and it fit fine. I put one on my large suitcase that I checked. It was still holding tight when I got my bag at my destination. I have a black four wheeled carryon case for my laptop that I put in the overhead bin on the plane. I put one of these on the handle and it was easy to identify my bag in the bin with all the other black cases.

Ok I have bought this for myself, my mom, sister and my GRANDPA. Best investment for older individuals that need airport assistance. My 84 year old grandfather tends to miss his suitcase until there are a few remaining. With these not only does he spot it right away but airport staff are provided a laminated picture of the suitcase and they have been able to spot right away. LOVE LOVE LOVE

These have been great to have! Each person in our family has a different color so we know which bag is ours and it's great to easily see it at the airport too. the luggage tags have a METAL attachment which is wonderful. The plastic ones break to never be found again but these are sturdy and haven't broken. I've purchased this product twice. The first handles lasted a few years but then had to be replaced - maybe because we store our luggage in the garage and it gets very hot - not sure but I liked them so much I replaced them.

I bought these multiple times. They work great on suitcases and backpacks making them easy to carry and find coming off the airport baggage claims .

I ordered this for two reasons. One is to add more cushion to my luggage handles. I travel a lot and many airports requires long walks. This cushion will definitely provide more comfort. The second reason is to easily identify my luggage in addition to my luggage tag. I have had the experience of running after someone who was already exiting the airport because she took my suitcase by mistake! This was because our luggage looked identical. Now I am more aware to make sure that my luggage have easy to spot marks from the conveyor belt.

Seem like good quality, strong velcro. A nice alternative to tying a ribbon on your suitcase for identification. The black one is a bit of a waste given that most handles are already black, another bright colour would have been great.

Having all black luggage this will help to pick out ours easily at the carousel, looking forward to testing this theory soon. I like the fact that it’s not overwhelming but a subtle add on.

These comfort grips are both comfortable and functional. I wanted a bright color to help identify my luggage on the carousel amongst a sea of black and dark luggage. These do the trick.
