Corelle Impressions 20-Ounce Salad/Pasta Bowl, Callaway

I bought these as a Christmas gift for my roommate and I think I use them more than she does. I love these bowls, they are the perfect size for pasta and salads of course but I love them for homemade chili and other thick soups. Because they are Corelle they are lightweight and tough (Unlike another reviewer I have never had an issue with Corelle or CorningWare and some of what I use now is what my mom used when I was a kid- though I won't say how old that is). They are hands down our favorite bowls. Not easily seen from the picture, these particular bowls have a sort of wave to the sides that adds a nice touch. Simple, clean and beautiful. I love these so much I am ordering four more.

How dumb I am - after reading the other reviews and looking at the price I thought for sure that wasn't for One corelle ware salad/pasta bowl Nope!! $20.00 for one bowl. I don't why the other reviews are saying "Bowls" and "Dishes" that implies more than one to me or they wanted a really expensive set of bowls if they were purchased as single items. I don't know maybe I'm wrong but I think the price for what you get is ridiculous - that's me. I will be going to Target or somewhere else to get my set of "bowls" and I'm sure they will be corelle ware but not the ones that have a green stripe around the rim? Maybe that's why this bowl almost costs as much as a full set of these dishes. It is a perfect size salad bowl, but I'd have to eat alone :-(

Great size for salad, pasta, and warming left overs in microwave.

Great dish to use for spagetti or any stew you serve.

This bowl is much smaller than I expected. It also has a green trim instead of black.

I bought these 20 oz soup dishes to go with my Callaway dish set. Love these dishes so much lighter than my old stoneware.
