These 1/4" straps are the perfect size for headphone cords other smaller cord organization jobs. At 8" they can wrap a fairly long cord (12 feet USB extension cable). Although they are long, at 8", they work perfectly for smaller jobs if you cut a bit of the length off. I was used to the 1/2" width variety where I had to cut not only the length but the width as well. These are so much easier to use. Like other Velcro One-Wraps, these have precut holes at the top to loop the strap through. This allows you to anchor them to the cable so that you don't lose them when they are not wrapped. If you are type A like me, these are a godsend for not only keeping computer and A/V equipment organized but for keeping storage containers full of cords organized too.

I bought this roll of velcro to use to mount my new 150" projector screen to its stand. It was perfect. easy to install. Its strong. No problem holding the screen in place. Definitely worth it.

the slot into which the end of the strip goes is not fully stamped out, so the slot isn't fully empty to push the end through. This is not the case with the other cable ties of different sizes i've purchased, so i think it's a faulty manufacturing process. It's the same condition on the previous roll of these ties i purchased some time ago. I have to pull out the top portion of the cut out insert, and then cut with scissors the rest of the tab to remove it so the slot is open to push through the end and attach the tie to the cable.

I’ve used these wraps for over three years. Just bought my third pack. The straps are durable. I’ve used several for extension cords that get my exposure to sunlight and elements. I mostly use them for any type of cordage like audio video, battery charger cords, paracord, cut to length air hoses for off road vehicle etc.

These straps hold cables well. The roll is easier to keep in my tool bag than individual straps. The straps themselves aren't very wide, so they're not extremely noticeable. They also don't trap a lot of dust and stray threads like some other straps. They're quite sturdy and haven't come apart in layers like some others I've used. I'd definitely buy again.

Can’t seem to find this width easily. This was just what I was looking for. It’s a little long when wrapping my charging cords so I cut it. Better to have to long than too short so no complaints here.

I wanted to use these to attach speaker wires to my speaker stands so the wires are hidden from view. Unfortunately they are too short for my purposes. I need at least 8" to get around the speaker stand posts with the wires included. But while these are 8" long, the useful length is less if you tuck the ties through the hole in the head of the tie. That's a minor problem, though. I simply cut the ties to the length I need and use them that way. That might actually be a better way to use them, since I don't have any of the ties hanging out from the eyelet in the head of the ties. They are flat against the speaker stand uprights, more hidden that way. I could have bought a roll of Velcro, but in the end, these were cheaper, since I only need a few lengths, not 25 feet or whatever. I do like how narrow the ties are. They are strong enough to hold my wires in place, and narrow enough to be barely noticeable on my speaker stands. So while I made a miscalculation in buying these, I'm well satisfied with them. For people using them to simply bind cables together, they would be perfect. For other purposes, just cut them to the desired length.
