It is a very very nice satin silky material
So, shipping was very fast to Chicago. That's the big plus.As far as quality, not too shabby except I do have one complaint. The material is obviously not real silk, but if it was the price would be $400+. It is a very very nice satin silky material. Does not feel too scratchy at all.One of the pillow cases came with 3 black smudges and the inside tag had a pencil mark "2" on it. Not sure if this is a return? I hope not.. Anyway, the stitching is decent. When you turn it inside out there are TONS of loose threads. But again, this price is very very good.Overall, I would buy again maybe. Wash it when you first get it to remove the wrinkles from packaging.

Not a good value, pills up after washing or after weeks of use
Satin sheets are a waste of money unless you just use them till they fall apart... Washing them reduces their softness, and long term use turns them into a shredded bunch of pills wherever your body touches them, especially feet. Unless you wear socks in bed, your feet WILL rub them into a pile of pills.Still, if you’re willing to buy a new set of sheets every couple of months, you can sleep on “satin” sheets. $120 a year - is that a bargain? Probably not... but I like the feel of these sheets enough to replace them once the pills accumulate to a problematic level. Once that happens I use them for other purposes: fancy tarp for painting, bundled up for a cat bed...

NOPE
If you've ever wondered what it would be like to sleep on a thin, fraying, frictionless tarp, try these sheets! Otherwise, spare yourself a sleepless night of literally sliding off your bed and onto the floor and go with a cotton blend sheet set instead. These are terrible quality to boot..

The product description states that it will fit a 16-inch ...
The product description states that it will fit a 16-inch deep mattress. We have a 12-inch thick mattress, and it's barely fits. Since there is no material under the mattress, it only took less than three nights for needing to shove the fitted sheet back under the mattress.I will only provide one star because the description is completely off. One of the most simple things to do is get the description right.

Good product
I bought two sets In 2013 after hip replacement, and they are still in good shape. I find if you have back issues they are easier to turn over. I usually use fitted sheet and a different top sheet, sure helps me to turn over at night as I have back problems. Need to wash in delicate cycle with wool lite and put in dryer on linen dry. Just bought another set. Be sure to wash prior to use.

Good for the money.
I am updating my review, first of all, out of the package the sheets are scratchy which at first was my main complaint. After a wash and dry they are much silkier and smoother. The main problem I am having is that they constantly slip off the ends of the bed. It drives my boyfriend crazy, but I should be able to remedy the problem with sheet suspenders. I do enjoy all the colors they have, I will be looking in to getting more.

Fails in every possible way
I love these because I love satin sheets and they are hard to find, but these are a piece of crap. Within a few washings, the color bled and left the fabric looking streaky. The elastic is super weak, so I had to get those sheet clips to keep them on the bed so I wouldn't have to pull them back on every night in the middle of the night. But then the elastic full on broke a few weeks later. After replacing the elastic, it stayed on the bed much better. Now I just need to regularly run one of the sweater de-pilling devices over it weekly, because it get covered with them after every wash. If I could find navy blue satin sheets anywhere else, I would buy them, because this kind of maintenance for brand new sheets is ridiculous!

Great feeling, horrible quality
One wash and they ripped. The washing machine I have doesn't have anything that would rip them. I still use them. They feel very good on the skin. They also get very warm at night. Perfect for the winter but bad in the summer.

Good quality.
We were excited to get these, they are silky that is for sure, we slid all over the bed, the sheets get lost and fall off in the night and the pillows move around lol. I forgot that it was satin sheets are like. Fun though, but after a while, yes we changed the sheets to cotton.

Not too shabby and chic
Maybe not the best choice for high mattresses. I find them slippery and somewhat thin therefore coming loose from corners. But overall beautiful, soft and quite chic for the cost.
