Sure Foot 10370200005 Get-A-Grip Traction Cleat, Medium

Great Traction, Many Uses. No maintenance. easy to put on/take off. can carry them in your pocket.
I'm a fisherman and that involves walking around in wet places. Rocks are really slippery when wet and even wood can be too.My father in-law gave me a pair of these and I figured I would try them out on the jetty this year. They fit over my regular sneakers and they also fit over my rain boots.I wore them the first day over my sneakers and i was very confident that i would not slip, and i didn't !!The 2nd time i wore them it was poring rain and i had them on over my boots. I was a bit more cautious this day but I did not slip once and i was very confident while pulling in large fish and casting.I weigh 200lbs so these things got abused this year, and they look good as new.I know their intended use is for when it is snowing out or icy but I will be wearing them for fishing !!They're an easy cleanup, just rinse with fresh water, a lil soap won't hurt and then air dry them.At first I was a little disappointed that I couldn't find replacement studs for them but... They're so reasonably priced that I just ordered a bunch and now i have extras, 2 sets in each of my vehicles and 1 in each kayak. The studs have held up for this fishing season, i went on the rocks with them about 12 times this season and they look the same as the first time i used them.I also used these over my dress shoes, I had to walk through NYC and it was a very wet and cold night, didn't feel like taking the chance of busting my behind and getting dirty so i slipped these on. Got to where i was going and slipped them off and put them into their ziplock bag and into my pocketI'd recommend this product to anyone and everyone.

The BEST snow/ice traction aid ever made!
If you're wondering whether these will keep you on your feet take it from someone who's afraid to walk on snow/ice, these are for you. First saw them demonstrated on one of those TV shopping channels and was blown away by the woman standing on a block of ice, which was on a slight grade and she was standing still not sliding or falling. I bought 4 pair and gave away 2. These are improved from the originals as the inside that makes contact with the sole of your shoe has a gripping surface to help keep them centered on your shoe. Unlike the competition which has metal coils the Sure Foot will keep you upright on a grade and will not pop off your boots. Also, the competition's coils have a tendency to break and the material used to make those traxx is plastic which gets brittle in the exact conditions in which you need to use them. Be careful wearing Sure Foot indoors as they will catch on rugs and you can get injured. The spikes might scratch wood and laminate flooring. But they're not meant for indoors . I offer the advice given by the hostess on that home shopping show: "Buy several pairs. Keep a pair at work in your desk. Keep a pair in the car and a pair in your home". Do NOT think twice about Sure Foot grips - order them and you'll be glad you did.

Glued on me in winter!
These stay glued to my boots in the winter. My vet even makes fun of me clicking in the hall when Iโm wearing these. But as a dog walker and our winters frequently having ice, I wouldnโt be out without them.Pros: durable. It probably took two winters for the studs to wear down enough to need replacement... and you can order those separate. It works! Granted you can still slip, especially if not standing evenly on this, but it helps so much... even if a big dog tries to pull. Can wear these inside unlike others that are thicker and wired.Cons: studs do eventually wear down. It can scratch up floors. And it could give you a false sense of security. If my review helped, please mark helpful. Thanks!

Highly recommended!
Just to clarify this review: it is for the Get-A-Grips, not for what was delivered to me by an Amazon seller...buyer beware! These are great! I had a pair on my Sorel boots for walking the dog, shoveling, for trips to the mountains for skiing, etc.--I just left them on those boots and got less expensive ones for my shoes. I had them for over ten years, and am now having to get new ones as I slipped walking the dog yesterday, which struck me as odd since I've never slipped while wearing these, and when I looked down, the right one was missing! I backtracked and couldn't find it anywhere so figured the snowplow got it, but I got more than my money's worth out of them.

Worth their weight in gold
These get-a-grips are incredible. They allow you to walk, run, skip and hop on ice without falling, slipping or sliding. One note: they don't buy you much on snow, and they're not formed to go over heels of any great height. The medium size fits well over boots that run from a woman's size 6 through a man's size 9, and they take a little stretching to get on the first time. I leave them on an older pair of boots rather than put them on and off each time I need them. They should come off before you go inside, as they could harm carpeting or flooring. My son borrowed a pair from me when he had to shovel off a roof during this miserable winter. He told me he started to slide off the roof in the snow, but stopped short when he hit the ice. Highly, highly recommended. If you have older relatives, buy them each a pair. It's a lot cheaper than a broken bone.

Highly Recommended for Winter
I bought my first pair in 2011, and they are still in good condition as of December 2019. I lost maybe just a couple of spikes but they still work like a charm. I would not dare walk on ice or melted snow without these things attached to my boots. I highly recommend this product.

THE BEST for winter walking!
I've owned these before and got nervous because I couldn't find any replacements. I'm a dental hygienist and have broken my hand and wrist over the years. However, since I found these 10-15 yrs ago and wear them, I've haven't had any mishaps. LOVE THEM!!! When I bought them the first time they were called Get-A-Grips and they are THE BEST!!! RDH in VT

Get 'em now while you're thinking of it for next winter's use!!
I live on a farm and have to wade through snow, ice, etc. on my way to the stable and barn. Someone gave me another kind of boot traction grips, but the Sure Foot Get-a-Grips are far superior. Just be sure not to wear them in the house. They really do a number on floors!I highly recommend this product
