They usually came pointed which worked great now it seems they do not?

Not sure, been using them a couple years and they’re the same shape as q-tips. I usually squeeze the end a little with a tissue first so there’s no drips, but no complaints whatsoever! They’re like little magic erasers for your face 😊

Are they cotton on both ends like a qtip, or only on one end?

They are only cotton on one end, the other is free from anything.

Do these remove waterproof makeup?

I don't know. I use it with Mac dip down cream eyeliner that I apply with a brush. The Eye Makeup Corrector work fine with it and the Clinique brush on cream liner.
