Great set for the aspiring Doctor
We have a fantastic family doctor that my son adores. He had become so interested with our Doctor that he would come home from office visits pretending to be Doctor C, so as Christmas rolled around I knew I needed to get him an "official" Dr kit. So on my search I found this one and others, this one had the best reviews and looked like it had a nice assortment with a briefcase of sorts for all of his supplies to be stored in. Christmas morning he was excited to play with it and check us all out once he realized exactly what it was. I love watching my sons creativity tick while he is taking care of us all. The set seems pretty well made and you get a large assortment of tools. Cellphone, pager, tweezers, two pairs of scissors, reflex hammer, stethoscope, oral mirror, two band aids and much more. The cellphone one day wouldn't stop ringing and so we decided to just take out the battery. Nothing else has been an issue and I don't think that is enough of an issue to take down a star it still works great for pretend play and we didn't buy it for the cell phone anyway. I especially like how large the container is as we add to our Doctor collection their is more room in that case so it doesn't have to be strewn everywhere. In short I would buy this again, no question.

LOVE
My daughter got her pink set when she was 2! She is now 6 and still enjoys it. We LOVE IT! It gets played with every single day. Now my 2 & 4 year old also play with it. After so much daily use some of the pieces went missing and the case cracked from being stood on too many times so we bought a second set! Pink was unavailable, but we loved it so much we got it in blue and they still love it! Great buy. Best money I ever spent on my girls!!! So glad I bought a second set. Just as good as we remembered :)

A lot of fun for the little ones
Updated: I initially wrote a review indicating that I wasn't happy with this product, but after seeing how much my niece loved this toy and playing with it along with her, I have completely changed my mind about it. I am impressed with the sounds the stethoscope and cell phone make and she couldn't be happier with it. Although the toys don't necessarily look exactly like the actual doctor's tools, they are perfect for a small child who can't tell the difference anyway and who appreciates the bright colors and lack of sharp edges. Additionally, it has in fact kept her entertained for countless hours. My opinion was already changed prior to the manufacturer reaching out about my complaints, but it was nice that they took the time to do that as well. Previous review: This is a decent toy for really young kids who don't know any better. Unfortunately, all of the tools aren't very well-made and it's honestly difficult to tell what each is supposed to be. They really don't look anything like the actual tools that a doctor would use. Any kid above two years old wouldn't be entertained for very long. **If my review was helpful to you, please click the “Helpful” button below, thanks!

Very durable with alot of accessories!
Very pleased with this purchase! Comes with lots of accessories and my kids love playing doctor! The blood pressure cuff has velcro so it will stay on the arm and if you squeeze it the air will make an arrow rotate around pointing to different numbers which my girls love the interactive play! The cell phone takes 2 A A batteries (not included) and every button makes beeping noises or ringing noises! The thermometer has a dial that you turn and it has different numbers that show up. The pager (my kids have no idea what this is lol) makes noises when you press the buttons. The stethoscope alternates between a cough noise and a heart beating noise when you press the button. The shot has a spring in it so when you press it down it will pop back up instead of having to pull it back up yourself. Everything feels super durable and I am very pleased with the quality in this set. Everything that required batteries had them included except for 2 AA batteries in the cell phone.

Great choice
I waffled back and forth between a couple of options for play medical kits, and I finally went with this one based on the overwhelmingly positive reviews. I am very happy I bought it for my 4 year old. Mine came with every piece shown in the picture. It has a large, sturdy case. The stethoscope makes alternating heartbeat and coughing sounds, the shot is spring-loaded, and the battery operated pieces (pager, phone) work well. The pieces are large enough for easy use by a toddler, and the stethoscope does not pinch. Even I can wear it for a short time without earning myself a pinching headache. They are brightly colored, and very easy to clean. I like the variety. I think some other brands offer a blood pressure cuff that could be used on adults, but this one does not. This cuff works on a small child and her toys, nothing larger. My daughter is very happy with it. She is a fairly gentle child, and I don't foresee her managing to break these toys. However, if your child is motivated, I'm pretty sure she could demolish them. They are sturdy enough for my purposes, but they are not really thick or heavy. I would recommend this to others.

No more fear of the doctor!
Our 3 year old son used to cry from the moment we stepped out of the car at the doctor's office until the moment we got back in the car after the visit. We got him this set when he was about 2 years old and he has enjoyed giving "check ups" to all of his family members and cats. It has been so empowering for him to get to be the doctor and explore all the tools! All of our subsequent visits to his doctor have been tear free and he now brings his stethoscope with him to listen to his doctor's heart whenever he has to go in! This set has also grown wonderfully with him as we can now talk about the function of all the tools, what body parts they are used with, sizes, shapes, colors, textures, and (obviously) imaginative play. It is sturdy, fun, and useful.--Great toy!!

The best kit I could find for boys… Love it but wish BP cuff was bigger.
My twins each asked for a Doctor Kit for Christmas when they were 5. I thought they were maybe a little old but since it was what they each specifically asked Santa for, the hunt began. After reading about many of the other kits available this was the one Santa decided on and it's perfect! They both got one and have loved them for almost a year now. A couple weeks ago they even used the name tag for when they dressed up for career day at school as a dentist. They play 'doctor" and "hospital" and "vet" with their stuffed animals all the time. They've even added a cute disney face mask they got at the real hospital this past summer to their kit. So great for imaginary play, educational too. The only thing I would change is the blood pressure cuff being able to fit an adult better. They like to take my blood pressure but it won't fit on my arm and stay… we put it on my wrist just fine but seems like it would be easy to have it be a little bigger so kids could fit it on anything from a stuffed animal to a parent. :)
