Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  Bought it specifically because of the shape of the type c part of the plug. Massively disappointed it's circular. Oh wait. The CORD is a rectangular port and the type c dongle IS ROUND AND POLARIZED against the charger. So... It literally doesn't work. SCAM DO NOT BUY

I bought this cable to connect a phone to my car's Android Auto system, it works great for that so far. Connects and disconnects easily when entering and exiting the car, but is reasonably secure when driving so I don't have to worry about losing a connection while in motion.

I don't write many reviews, but this cable has worked well and saw it didn't have any yet. I chose this brand because it has a case friendly design and said it fast charged. I was expecting to have to cut the notch on my case a little bigger, but this fits perfect so I didn't have to. Also with a case it doesn't stick down much. I've gotten several other cables that said fast charging, and none have been as good as my original (most actually put my phone in slow charging mode and none are magnetic), but this cable seems to charge faster than even my original cable which was a nice surprise. Lately, it's really pliable/flexible compared to most braided cables I've had which really helps with the magnet staying connected even you're using your phone. The magnet does disconnect easier than a standard cable, but that was expected and will help save the cable if your phone falls a lot while plugged in.

Magnetic end, it didn't charge. I tried turning it around, nothing worked. I had to pull their usb'c part out and it marred up my ipad very badly. My husband thought it was just me so he plugged his in and the same thing happened. It didn't charge even though the light was blue, the charge of green never did come on the ipads. He had to get needle nose plyers and take his out which ALS0 marred his brand new Ipad up.

I bought this set to use in the car. The phone adapter is meh. It's also very large, and if you aren't using a case, it'll more than likely get caught on something while taking your phone out or putting it away as it sticks outquite a bit from the port. You have to constantly push up on it to make sure it doesn't fall out of the bottom of your phone, yet the magnet isn't strong enough to keep the cable from disconnecting if you hit a bump in the road. This is highly annoying for someone using AA or Carplay as it has to connect with the vehicle every single time.If you're using this in your home it may be fine as long as you don't need to keep charging while a call is active. Otherwise, plan on using speakerphone.

This is the first magnetic USB cable I've found that worked in my Mazda CX5 for Android Auto. At first I didn't think it did, but I looked down and the magnetic connection hadn't been made. My only gripe on this product, and the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the magnet is weak. As long as I don't touch my phone it stays connected. If I pick it up or move it, chances are the cable disconnects which is annoying. If the magnet was stronger it'd be the perfect cable for me.

I got these so I wasn't constantly plugging and unplugging my devices and wearing out the charging ports. I didn't actually expect much from them, but I was pleasantly surprised. These charge my phone and Kindle super fast. And i haven't had any problems with them getting hot or breaking. Really impressed esp considering the price point. Well worth the price

A good product if you live in a lab but in real world conditions little bits of metalic debris get stuck to the magnets so the you end up not getting a good connection and end up spending more time cleaning it than you save. It's good but only for the first week
