Maxine Of Hollywood Women's Plus Size Solid Shirred Girl Leg One Piece Swimsuit

I love the Maxine of Hollywood suits. Good quality. This is the second one I purchased. The first suit I wore quite a bit to the pool it has held up very well. The color is still as vibrant as the day I bought it. I wanted a second suit in black. Although the second suit I bought is the same size as the first , it is a bit larger. I first noticed when I tried it on, it felt a little large on me then when I wore it to the pool, the straps fell off my shoulders twice. I will keep it but am a little disappointed that the fit is not like my first suit.

The bottom half is nicely roomy in a size that should have fit me. However, the designers seem to forget that women buying plus size clothing are often well endowed on top, and so they needed to make the same accommodation for the top as they did for the bottom. Very tight on top. I'm keeping it, with the hope that when it gets wet it will stretch a little, but also ordered a tankini that can be bought in different top and bottom sizes. Material is very thick, almost too thick, with very little give. Kind of feel like I am going into battle instead of to the pool.

Fits a little bit large but I knew this because this is my second Maxine of Hollywood Plus polyester swimsuit. I lost weight and needed to buy a new suit. I wore the old one for a year, swimming in a chlorine pool, and it never stretched or faded. I knew this was a great swimsuit so I ordered another one.

The swimming suit is great. The best I've ever had. However, UPS for shipping is worthless. They did NOT even try to deliver the item and just took it to post office. I am a rural area but UPS could at least make an attempt instead of lying.

I really like this swimsuit. It is very flattering and fits nice. I especially like the leg openings. I am not one to like the hi-rise. If you are looking more for the 'boy' leg this is a nice suit.

This is by far my favorite suite I have had in years! It is flattering and feels great on. It doesn't hold much moisture so it drys fast once out of the water.
