Classic Accessories Veranda Water-Resistant 34 Inch Square Air Conditioner Cover, Patio Furniture Covers

This is a great ac cover! (The last one I bought for about the same price, was thin and lasted about 2 winters.) First let me say that my husband works for a Big Box Hardware store. When I told him we needed a cover, he said he'd "take care of it". Three weeks later it still was not "taken care of". Instead of nagging - I've learned you have to choose your battles - I went on Amazon figuring I'd find one on here. Wow, there were so many to chose from. This one looked the nicest, had good reviews and the price was right. It is extremely durable, looks nice - sorry it is a bit wrinkled in my pictures. It feels very sturdy. It has a toggle at the bottom to tighten the bottom so it has a tighter fit. I have not used that toggle yet. I mainly wanted to get it on the ac and take some pictures before I forgot (!). I would definitely recommend this and would buy it again. When my husband saw it, his exact words were "I was going to buy one at work." Famous last words.

I’ve had this cover for about a year now and I must say it has performed perfectly. Quality: Excellent Material: Excellent Durability: Excellent This cover has worked wonders here in the Pacific Northwest where we get a lot of rain and snow sometimes in the winter. The cover is large enough to cover our 3.5 Ton unit. It has vent slots on the sides to keep air flow moving through the unit and tie strings on the bottom to ensure a snug fit. After one winter season there was some build up of mold and green mildew. However, the cover was very easy to clean with some mild soap and water. If I had to complain about anything I wish that the cover was just a bit longer as the bottom of the A/C unit is exposed by about 1 inch. Overall, this is a great cover and has held up well over the past year. Highly recommended! A+

October 29, 2023 updated.. I decided to just buy this one again because it fits so well. Of course it won't last but oh well. It looks nice and fits like a glove. I recommend measuring your unit carefully because mice and rodents will get under covers with a lot of excess material. May, 2023 I just removed my cover from the unit and it completely fell apart. Literally dry rot. Only held for two years which seems to be about average for these covers. Nice cover so it's unfortunate they do not last. I had one for my grill and the same thing happened.

I was searching for a well-made, waterproof cover for two ceramics kilns. After searching barbeque grill covers then moving to patio table covers, I discovered that an air conditioning cover might be just what I was looking for. I have a 1027 Skutt electric kiln I need to protect when not in use. This cover fits perfectly, almost as if it were made for the kiln! I bought one of the covers for my smaller kiln as well, and even though the cover is big, it can be cinched down easily so it stays put. I will be taking my kilns out to their covered outdoor area this weekend. Although we haven't had any rain yet, I feel pretty confident that these covers will work very well! Very happy with this purchase so far!

I just realized I purchased this AC cover in 2015 and I’ve been using it every winter for the past 9 years in MO (I’m writing this review in the Fall of 2024). The cover is intact, the rubber straps and plastic pieces are also perfectly functional, and the quality of the fabric has barely deteriorated over the years! I’m very pleased with the product!!! The only reason I’m in need of a new one is because this summer we had to replace our AC unit and this size doesn’t work anymore, so I’m hoping I can find the same product in a size that fits my new AC unit.

I purchased this for my husband to use for something other than its listed purpose. We actually use it for his X-Large Big Green Egg which fits perfectly around the egg in nest with shelf at each side (when shelves are folded up). Does a great job at keeping weather away from Egg. This is our second Veranda cover. I purchased one about a year ago for our gas grill which is also completely exposed to weather and other than a slight bit of fading, it has held up great so far and we use the grill quite often. Material feels fairly heavy duty, handles are helpful and vent flaps are nice. All I will look for a Veranda cover for any future need / purchase... Shipping was also prompt, packaged very well.

The debate continues over whether or not to use a cover on a central air unit but I chose to buy one and I am glad I chose this one. Living in the Pacific Northwest produces more than a fair share of rain. The position of my Central Air on the outside of the house allows rain to drop right into the unit. Not anymore. This cover has two adjustable drawstrings and even includes a buckle to accomadate the coolant lines on the back of the unit. I was very happy when I realized this cover had these features. This thing is strapped down tight and doesn't move a bit in the wind. + Lightweight + Great Quality + Price + 2 Drawstrings plus Buckle Strap + Snug Fit _Bottom Line_ Yes, I would recommend this cover to a friend and I am also ording a cover for my gas grill. I am so thrilled with the quality of this cover that I am confident I will not regret buying a cover for my grill.

I bought this to use on our square, high top patio set (table and 2 chairs). When I took it out of the packaging, I could tell right away that it is good quality patio covers. The material is sturdy which is perfect for protecting the furniture from rain/snow. The elastic hem works well and so does the buckle strap. It hasn’t been really windy here yet so I couldn’t comment about the air vents that suppose to reduce wind lofting. Our table and chairs are a bit taller than the cover, so the legs are a bit exposed (about 2-3 inches) but not a big deal. I was hesitant about the beige colour when I saw the online photos but it actually looks way better in person, not cheap looking at all. I’m happy with this product.

This should withstand a Canadian winter, and I really like the strap that fits around the external A/C hose coming out of the wall. There's also a drawstring at the bottom which should keep leaves, ice etc. out. It was a bit large for my unit but I secured it with bungee cords so that there's no chance of a wind taking it away. Great product!

I have been trying to beat the system with an air conditioner covers. Bought a cheap one. Lasted only one year, then broke. So cold, that plastic broke. Last year I was doing reno's and had some left over poly. It worked, but what a pain. This year I broke down and bought this thing. Just put in on the conditioner. It's -15 right now, but I managed to put it on in the dark in less than five minutes. Way less. I've wasted time, and spend $20 on cheapy. This is much better. The draw straps at the bottom are great, the clip to go around the hoses is also a good idea. In the words of Cousin Eddy "she's a good quality item."

Bought this product 4 years ago, it's so durable and easy to use! Now it's still in use. I just bought another one for my new house, and i noticed that the price even stays the same as 4 years ago, which is so great!!! Highly recommend!

This is the second one we have bought. Used the first one for two years for the ac and decided to cover our new firepit with it. Got a second cover for the ac. They are great quality, thick, waterproof and love the buckle feature that attaches it to the bar holding the ac up to the house so it doesnt blow away.
