Tastes great and froths similar to the Nescafe Gold if you hit it with the frother as you pour in the hot water.

To me this has fruity scent notes out of the can. But yet when I add my hot water, it still has a depth of flavor. I tend to like dark roasts, but this gives me the same smooth depth without the chicory chocolatey flavor notes of your typical dark roast. It’s nice to have in my rotation. Lately I have really been loving instant coffees because there are easy to make in the morning. I feel this one is a quality one. The size of the can is reasonable for the price. The grains are a nice texture…this is not a powdered instant coffee.

Smooth and low acidity. Makes a lovely brown sugar hazelnut latte.

Update: I'm nearing the end of my first can and I'm sad to say, I'm disappointed. While the can is beautifully designed, I think it not being an airtight container is affecting the coffee. As I'm nearing the very bottom, the coffee is losing its flavor. It doesn't taste as strong as it did when I first opened the can. So I ordered a different brand to try next for comparison. ______________________ This is really great instant coffee as far as instant coffees go. I'm single, make only one cup of coffee in the morning, and hate polluting landfills with plastic pods, so instant coffee is the way to go for me. I use an extra half of a teaspoon because I like strong coffee. It's definitely low-acid because it does NOT affect my stomach like coffee usually does. I add my mushroom powders in with a little French Vanilla creamer and I am good to go! Has a great little kick of caffeine to get me going too. My only complaint is that I didn't see a decaffeinated version available because that would be really appreciated for an after-dinner cuppa. (And I just love the colorful design of the can!)

I've bought this before and enjoy the coffee's rich taste. Today, however, I can't get my new tin open. Three people tried and we eventually had to use a screwdriver. Now the tin is damaged and I've had to put the coffee in a different container.

I give five stars for taste and 3 stars for price - 4 stars overall. I have been using Kava Instant Low Acid coffee for over 30 years. However, since they went out of business and then someone else started manufacturing the item, the taste hasn't been the same. Out of curiosity, I thought I'd see if there are other brands out there and found this one - all I can say is "Dang! This is good!" And I mean goooooooooood! I believe I'll be totally switching over to this, but dang it's expensive. So is Kava, but they give you more for the money. Of course, more of a bad thing doesn't equal less of a good thing... I didn't write a review right away because I thought "No way this is low acid - it doesn't say it on the label." But... it hasn't given me any issues in my week of usage, and believe you me, any other type of coffee does. So now I trust that this is definitely low acid. Honestly can't beat the taste, so if you're thinking about trying it - stop thinking about it and do it!
