ATL5450W Ball Valve for Regulating Water Flow, 5/8-Inch

Like a few other customers, I read this as a set of 2 valves from a company called "Little Fishies." I'm not stupid - perhaps a bit dyslexic - and all the other times I've purchased these valves they came in sets of 2. So if this is like the others I've purchased, I can say they're great. They fit a 5/8" hose (mine are on a garden drip system - check if you need this 16mm valve or the smaller 13mm version) and shut off completely. I'm using them to isolate different parts of my drip system so I can repair problems in one sector of the garden without broken hoses creating geysers anywhere else. It's expensive for a single valve...I wish the company really was just "Little Fishies" and they'd sent me two.

I put these on my tubing that run in and out from my aquarium to my external filter. I wanted a way to cut off water flow when moving around tubes so no more water pouring out unexpectedly. I did use small metal claps over each side connection, just in case. No leaks noted and they shut off water well as long as the pump is off.

Just bought a Marineland 5gal portrait tank. The water-flow from the filter on these things are notoriously high, I bought this to add to the line from the pump to the outflow and reduce the filter flow to a level acceptable for a betta, The filter compartment on this tank is very narrow so I used a dremel to hack off the handle on the knob so it just fits. I'm happy with it, it does the job.

I recently installed Two Little Fishes 1/2" ball valve on the intake of an aquarium filter so that I could use the filter in somesmaller aquariums. In stock form, the water flow for the filter was not adjustable. By adding a ball valve to the output tube on this filter I am now able to reduce its water flow so that it can be used in my smaller aquariums.This ball valve is well constructed of heavy plastic and should last for years.I'll update my experiences with it.Thus far, highly recommended!

Was perfect for what I needed it for works great

I got this to control the intake on a pump I use to clean the debris from my display tank and sump. Works well so far. Only time will tell how long it lasts, but it is easy to adjust the valve. I would purchase it again, given it lasts a while.

This is a perfect looking and functioning valve. The knob rotates easily with one hand and will not disturb your tubing. I’m extremely satisfied with purchasing this valve. I will be looking to purchase more in the future.

Suited for tubes with ID 16mm as discribed.This means the ID of the valve tule itself is less than 16mm.
