Good airflow, easy install
Easy to install. Runs quietly. I use this to push air from our restaurant's dining room into the kitchen area. This helps keep fumes in the kitchen, as well as providing a bit of cool air flow to our insanely warm commercial kitchen. The doors open and close as expected. Variable speed works fine, though we always run it at max speed. All black color has a clean look and should work well in a commercial setting.

Ideal for Frying
I like a fish fry, and this exhaust fan is ideal. I installed it on an exterior wall in position to capture all the moisture from the pan. This exterior fan is an excellent value, and the high quality speed control is excellent. It is surprisingly easy to clean, a good feature. If I could easily remove the fan blades, even better. The noise level is controlled by the fan speed, even most loud it isn't loud. This extractor fan does not rattle or make any other noise. It is perfect for my use. My kitchen thanks you! If installation seems like a daunting task, I recommend working out the position until you are satisfied the studs inside the wall are located and the siding outside is considered. I have 14" cedar siding. I drilled four holes, using an extra long drill for exterior walls, around the cardboard circle provided from outside after I was satisfied with measurements from the window frame with the position inside. I measured both inside and outside, checked and double checked. Then I made the four pilot holes. It was just right, so I made the initial cutout using an appropriate oscillating saw blade. I used the 8" circle hold saw I purchased for the job after the initial cut in the cedar siding. I didn't go all the way thru, stopping after penetration of the hold saw center drill. I went inside to finish opening the hole from inside. If I could do it, I think you can or at least know how.

Good buy
The fan had very good air flow. It was quiet in the low fan speed setting and just more louder in the highest speed. It has a solid build.

Exactly as Described -- Works Well -- Quality Moderate
I purchased this fan to remove summer heat from my Phoenix garage when the temps can easily exceed 125. It installs easily in an existing 10"x16" passive circulation vent installed high on the wall by removing the existing louvered vent and mounting the motor to a 1"x3" rectangular frame constructed around the vent opening. This can be done easily with hand tools. PROS - Easy to mount - Auto-close vanes work well as long as they are kept clean (suggest cleaning annually or more often) - Relatively quiet for the amount of air handled - Appears to deliver the full-rated CFM of air, enough to exhaust a 2-car garage under typical circumstances CONS - Less than an American quality heavy-duty motor; it remains to be seen if it will hold up - A little overpriced for the degree of ruggedness I'll write more after it has been in service for a while.

Provides good air flow to the chicken coop.
I got this to get some ventilation in the chicken coop. It's ~15square foot. The 6inch exhaust fan does a nice job. It pushes hot air out easily. No problem with the install. We put it on the wall up close to the roof where the hot air lingers. The hardest part was cutting out the circle in the wall. Very much worth the cost. I was worried it would be loud. On low is very quite. On high to my surprise wasnt as loud as I thought it would be. The chickens love the upgrade as well.

Excellent quality!
I buy a lot of industrial equipment for work. This is a really high quality product. If you need an in-wall fan that moves a lot of air, this is a great option! I bought this to move air in between rooms in my house. We have a mini-split in the main room and our bedroom doesn't get any of the heat or air conditioning. This fan works perfectly to get the conditioned air into our bedroom. It's a 130 sqft room and with the fan running at half speed, it equalizes the temperature in the two rooms. I put a fan speed controller switch on it and wired that into the wall of the room. At full speed, it's a bit loud. We run it at half speed normally and it does fine. If we need to cool things off quickly, we can do full speed. The only bad thing about it is the power cord. This is obviously an item that needs to be wired in. It's a weird choice to put a plug on it. I rewired it so it would have a contiguous wire all the way to a junction box. Not a big deal. This is a seriously high quality product. The metal is very thick. The fan blades are metal, not plastic. The fan blades are also balanced from the factory. This is an expensive process that helps the fan run more quietly and greatly extends its life. I didn't expect it to be this nice. If you need an in-wall fan that moves a lot of air, buy this!

Good unit but too loud
The unit works as intended, but it says that runs quiet, but it does rattle at least the unit I received when it turns on, after that it runs with a noticeable extreme sound. This unit will work great for big open spaces where you will not noticed it.

Fresh air in basement with no windows.
This exhaust fan works so well to get some fresh air in our basement that does not have any windows. My husband installed it in just about an hour and the air feels so much more fresh in the basement now.

I bought this to exhaust my familycraft room that includes my resin printers. My printers are in an enclosure with seperate exhaust and this was for full room cleansing. It noticeably cycles my whole room in about 5 minutes on low to medium and on high I am sure it would do it in 1 minute. It is not silent but even on high it is very tolerable to have on while working in the room. For what I spent I think it is a great item, considering a comparable size from a dedicated supply was looking to run me $400 - $700 I would gladly just buy 3- 4 more of these over the life of my house.
