TachikaraSSIDS Futsal Skills Soccer Ball

Our adult league soccer team plays futsal occasionally for practice. I bought this ball because it had a history of positive reviews and came from a respected company. The ball feels good, had proved durable, and has performed to our expectations. Futsal balls take a beating scuffing around on a hard floor, and this one has held up nicely. The surface still looks very good, the stitches are holding. We are very happy with it.We have been using this ball on and off for over a year, and it has held up well. One thing I have noticed after using other balls is the hardness of the surface of this ball. I and others on the team appreciate the softer covers on some balls from other manufacturers. I still think that this is a high quality, durable ball.

I've been looking several years now for a good futsal ball. The last few years I tried both Adidias and Admiral balls only to see the panels start peeling off after only a few games. I had never heard of this brand, but saw good reviews on several sites. The ball turned out to be an excellent choice. It is a good size for a futsal ball (near size 4) and has a nice feel (slightly soft with a non-slippery matte surface). It also proved to be very durable, It was used for 40, 2 hour games over the winter, half on a wood floor and half on tile. The ball is still very usable and only shows a small amount wear around the outside of the panels. I am sure I could use it again next year, but will gladly buy a new one with no reservations.

I help run a soccer ministry at my church. During the winter these balls get pounded against walls for around 3 hours. 3 times a week. So far they usually last around 5 months. Then eventually that last fateful wall slam kills it, but 30 bucks or so for 5 months of use in that kind of situation is great. Most other brands haven't lasted nearly as long. As for the hardness of the ball, futsals because of their weight will be harder. This ball isn't an exception, but after using others this one is most definitely not the hardest.

First ball ordered stopped holding air whithin the first month. Amazon sent a replacement. Second ball lasted exacly 5 months of 3 times a week 1 hour games. That is about 60 hours of play. Not very much...I have to say it is a pretty nice ball.But there must be some flaw with the inner tube; the outer layer is structurely fine other than some minor sign of wear but the inner tube doesn't hold air for more than half hour or so after about 60 hours of play.

This is a nice futsal ball and does not bounce like a balloon! I and my friends prefer the Mikasa ball because it is lighter but this one is good too.Update (2/16/2011):I will definitely buy this ball again although it does not seem to degrade any soon. I used to buy "Mikasa FSC62 America Futsal Soccer Ball" before which I had to change it every 6 months or so but not this one! It has a great durability and if nothing abnormal happens I guess we can use it for another year.

This is, by far, the most durable futsal ball I have used. I play in a regular pickup game on an abrasive hard court surface (like a tennis court). This is one of the only balls that has had any durability. My current ball is going on 2 years of at least weekly play and I'm about to order another one. The ball is heavy and low-bounce, both good qualities of a hard-court ball.

This is a great match ball. It stays inflated way longer than my Nike5 Rolinho Clube. It doesn't bounce nearly as much as the Rolinho, so I prefer the Rolinho when I am practicing and kicking a ball around for fun, as it is more lively. But for a match situation, this Tachikara is great to keep the play on the ground and off the walls.

This is a really good ball. I play with it once a week on a wood gym floor. Nice low bounce and it seems sturdy. It can get a little wobbly after it hits a corner but regains its shape quickly. It has a matte finish that lets it slide but still has decent touch. Durability was a priority for me and this seems good in that respect.

I had a problem with the 2015 ball holding air (about halfway through the winter) and it was replaced for free by Tachikara. I had no problems with the 2016 ball and am using it for 2017. The replacement 2016 ball is now a warm up ball, but could still be used for games. I don't know about the reviewer who had seams come apart, but I have had no structural issues with any of the balls I have ordered.

I bought 2 of them in the past. Sep 2018 (left image) and Feb 2017 (right image) both from amazon.The newer one is broken after 3 months. I'm using it only for warming up now.You can see the difference of quality between two products.You cannot see the stitches on older one and it even doesn't have holes on leather.It was a really great product and now I'm disappointed with the latest quality.

I professionally run a futsal team and this is my ball of choice for over 2 years. It feels nice during the game, sticks to the feet for good control and doesn't roll too fast. I have scored many a great goal with this one!

Plays well but not particularly durable. It lasted one year playing 3-v-3 on a basketball court, 1 hour games every week, so that's a lifespan of about 50 hours. The seams started coming apart and after a year it was no longer usable. I'm hoping our next ball lasts longer, but for the price I think it is fairly good. 3 stars for quality, 4 stars for price.
