This doesn't have a strong odor!
I received BARK&SPARK Omega 3 Fish Oil Treats for Dogs as part of Amazon's Vine program in return for an honest review. This product includes 180 fish oil treats designed to support your dog's skin and coat health, with essential EPA and DHA fatty acids derived from salmon and pollock oil. The treats come in a convenient, resealable container that helps maintain freshness. The size and texture of the treats are just rightâsoft enough for dogs of all sizes to chew, but firm enough to avoid crumbling. One of the first things I noticed was the lack of a strong fishy smell, which is often an issue with omega-3 supplements. This makes the treats more appealing for both the dog and the owner, as you donât have to deal with lingering odors. As for my dog's reaction, the treats were a hit from the start. They seemed to enjoy the flavor, and I had no issues getting them to take the supplement. This is a big plus for pet owners who struggle with giving their dogs pills or liquid supplements. Over the course of a few weeks, I noticed an improvement in my dogâs coatâit's shinier and feels softer to the touch. The skin also looks healthier, with less dryness and irritation. Additionally, there seems to be less shedding than I usually experience, which is a welcome change. While it's always difficult to isolate the effects of a supplement, the changes were consistent with the claims made by the product. The inclusion of both EPA and DHA fatty acids is a strong point, as these are known to support not only skin and coat health but also joint function and overall well-being. Given that these treats provide a good balance of these essential nutrients, they can be a valuable addition to a dog's diet, particularly for breeds prone to skin issues or joint problems. Overall, BARK&SPARK Omega 3 Fish Oil Treats are a convenient and effective way to improve your dog's skin and coat health. The palatable treats, combined with noticeable results, make this product a worthwhile investment for pet owners looking to enhance their dog's nutrition.

Hard to judge, but they seem like a good choice
Iâll start by saying that my 6-year-old Samoyed is a very picky eater and the only kinds of treats heâll eat are jerky types made with chicken, duck or salmon. So it was only a small surprise when he wouldnât eat these salmon-flavored chewables directly. Luckily, these chewables break and crush easily in your hand, letting me mix these chewables in with his favorite dog food. He then ate these supplements without complaint. The chewables are certainly firm enough to stay intact in the can and when feeding them as treats to dogs that will eat them directly. Of course, I want anything that I feed to my dog to be of very good quality and these salmon oil chewables seem alright. To start with, the plastic can comes sealed and with a lot number and âbest byâ date stamped on the side of the cover. The can provides plenty of information about this product, with a guaranteed analysis, complete list of ingredients and feeding instructions by the dogâs weight. The chews appeared and smelled fresh. On the other hand, as a product labeled âSalmon Oil", I initially was a bit disappointed to see that salmon oil was only the 6th ingredient listed, after dried potato product, flaxseed, glycerin, Brewers Dried Yeast, and Lecithin. After reading up on the other ingredients, however, I was pleased to see that flaxseed, Brewers Dried Yeast and Lecithin all have beneficial uses for maintaining a dog's health. Itâs of course difficult to rate the effectiveness of this kind of supplement, especially after just a couple of weeks. Will it help keep my dogâs coat shiny and his health good? I canât say at this point. What I can say is that he is willing to eat these supplements with his dog food and that he has tolerated them just fine. I didnât research what the prevailing thinking is regarding the usefulness of these kinds of supplements but, if you think they may be beneficial to your dog, this Omega Salmon Oil Supplement seems like an acceptable choice.

My dog is lukewarm with these
I like all of the benefits that are promised with these dog treats. The problem is that you need to have it appetizing enough where my dog wants to eat them without me forcing these treats down my dog's throat. My dog sniffs these things, and the first time, she ate one of them. Ever since, she refuses to eat these. If you can get your dog to eat them, I think they would be really beneficial, but my dog doesn't like them. Maybe my dog is a snob though?!

Love the treat instead of the oil
I recently adopted a dog from the shelter. She had been on her own out in the country for at least 9 months when she was picked up. She is a ShepHuskyPyrenees, so lots of double coat. Her skin was dry and her coat was dull and really shedding. I got her some salmon oil to help with her skin and coat. We had a routine, I would put her kibble in the bowl and she knew she had to wait until I put a squirt of oil on her food before she could eat. I didn't give her the full recommended dose due to gastric upset, she did fine. When I saw the Bark&Spark fish oil treats available as a free promotional I ordered them. It turned out to be perfect timing as I had to take her with me on a trip. I did not want to haul that squirt bottle of oil around and take a chance of it making a mess. So she will be getting the treats instead. She got her first one tonight with her dinner, she didn't waste any time eating it. As I know this brand is good and I know the benefits of the Omega 3, I'm counting on a nice full coat and less shedding as her skin improves. I love the convenience of the treats and she's not complaining at all.
