Kotobukiya Ghostbusters Bishoujo Statue: Lucy

I am quite a devoted fan to the Ghostbuster movies! This decorative figure, which is based only on the movie and does not identify a character, within the movie itself is quite fantastic. The pose and her assortment of realistic hardware are quite accurate in design and placement on her stylized base. Her uniform fits the costumes in the various characters of the movie. I believe that her torn and ragged parts to her uniform, does add to her sexy figure. I think that her facial features could be more realistic, then kind of being like a face out of Disney characters. If Kotobukiya wanted to add some extra features to this figure, perhaps adding lights to the backpack or containment unit or both would be fantastic. And for Pete's Sakes do label her name "Lucy" on to the nameplate folks.

One of the first figurines I bought due to it being cheaper than most and having a sexy spin on Ghost Busters, this figurine is a little on the small side compared to other figurines in my collection noticeably missing an inch in height. My only problem was putting the pegs into the holes I was afraid of breaking the resin (new to figurines at the time), the legs were not quit matched up with the holes in distance but I believe the reason being is so when you do forcibly insert it into place it pinches in on itself securing it. I have picked it up and flipped it upside down with nothing coming loose. Other than that no problems. The paint job was perfect, no miscoloration anywhere. The shipping was fast and packaged securely with no damage to the figurine or even the postal box itself.

This is my first Kotobukiya statue, (or my first step into the descent of true geeky madness), and it was far more polished than I thought it would be.A quick google image search will pretty much show you everything you get with the statue. The painting is extremely detailed, the details are precise, the pose is eye catching, and the cheesecake factor is nice without being too risque for company. The only "issue" and it really isn't an issue, but more of a design feature, is that the feet aren't as wide as the slots. But that could be for a more stable fit, I don't know.Anyway, if you like character statues you will be pleased with this one, or any in the KB line, and won't be too light in the wallet afterwards.

This is a high detail well crafted figure, it arrived on time, well packaged, and undamaged.This figure is very well crafted, the figure stands on a large which makes it very difficult for it to be tipped or knocked over, i would only be worried about knocking it onto the floor, most likely something would break off.Beautiful figure! highly detailed, the paint is perfect and I could not find any flaws, Lucy stands in a very striking pose and looks great! I never get sick of looking at her, one of my favorite figures!

i absolutely love ghostbusters, when i saw this statue i quickly ordered it. i love it over all, it sits next to my other statues,ready to kick butt incase the others are ever haunted by ghosts, vampires, werewolves or any other spook. she is by far my favorite statue out of all i have, if you love ghostbusters, and anime, shes the one for you.

As the title implies, this was my first statue from the Kotobukiya line and I'm quite impressed with the product. Its a lot taller than I was expecting which isn't a bad thing because she definitely stands out in my room. Its pretty detailed for a plastic statue, looks really great but just so you know, the head is detachable as you'll need to remove it to place the goggles around her neck. All in all, I'm quite happy with my purchase and know you'll be getting your money's worth with her.
