it was a large for a thinner person

I really like the “look” of the jacket, but two of the main buttons popped off after wearing it to work (business casual attire) only 3 or 4 times. The fit seems true to size. And for the money, I don’t think you’ll find better quality. 6’2”, 215lbs; bought XL

Too small. I ordered an XL but not sure if this is European sizing. The fabric is not tweed as advertised. Too expensive for it quality and workmanship

This jacket is such high quality! It arrived with a few wrinkles that need to be steamed out, but that is to be expected from an online order. The wool is very warm and the inner silk lining is soft! The buttons are high quality with a tight fit into the reinforced button holes. There are even buttons and elbow suede on the sleeves. There were a few loose threads upon arrival, but it took less than a minute to pull or trim them off. This is an excellent warm winter sport jacket for men or a great WW2 costume jacket for a play or cosplay. The internal stitching and lined pockets are all awesome and my husband is very excited about this purchase, as an old soul philosopher! All pockets are functional and lined. There are 2 breast pockets and 2 waist pockets that secure with very nice leather buttons. There are also 2 lined inner breast pockets- one on each side- which is very nice as well! I love the beautiful pleating on the back. This is very well made! We purchased the Medium and it is true to size. The price may be a bit high considering the loose threading that should have been trimmed before shipping, but the details are so great and finished product is worth it, I would still buy it. My son was jealous and asked for one for himself. :)

Shoulder pads are too big and sleeve liners tend to poke out.

This jacket looks nice. It looks like a Norfolk jacket. But it is not a Norfolk jacket. For some insane reason, that will baffle mankind, they added what looks like action pleats on the back. Action pleats were invented for the Norfolk jacket, these pleats made the jacket famous for letting you raise your arms, without constraint, hence it's also called a shooting jacket. But it's just for cosmetics. The pleats they added don't actually extend to give you any extension of your arms. Why? Why would they waste fabric to imitate pleats, but not actually make them pleats? Thus is not a Norfolk jacket. This is false advertising.
