This is my second time that I bought a chicken run and it’s the best option and cheaper to create a nice house for your chickens. Quality is good for winter and summer time. Easy assembly. and very spacious for my 6 chickens. The material is heavy.

Its ok. It goes together fine. It all fits. However the chickenwire is awful. It doesnt curve like it shows. We had to zip tie pieces of bamboo around it to make it have more support so it can actually curve.

Wednesday night we had a torrential downpour so Thursday morning when I went out to feed the chicks, the tarp had filled with water and bent the frame. We ended up taking the tarp off and bending the frame back. We are headed to Lowe’s to pick up some supplies to brace the end better so we can re-tarp it. Being that the top is flat, we are going to raise the end slightly so that the water drains off better, hopefully! This run is a great setup for chickens, however it takes more zip ties than provided to truly secure it from predators. We bought some barrier strips and staked them around the outside also to keep anything from getting under because the run has a nice gap under it, even when staked down with the provided “toothpicks”. I also suggest using stronger zip ties than provided. We also used zip ties to secure the tarp (which my husband called a shower curtain) instead of the ties that came with it. Our chicks truly are happy with getting to finally come out the coop though.

Ok here goes. It's exactly as described. It comes in 2 boxes. It's very heavy so make sure you have team lift or some kind of dolly to move to desired location. It's packaged very well and so easy to assemble. The frame clicks in. We heard to be careful with the chicken wire because they gave just enough. We found this to be incorrect as we had quite a it left over and we covered it completely with edges having overlapped double wire. If I ever need another run I will buy this one again. Now we buried the legs because we are using this for chickeñsand there is a decent gap from the bottom of the frame to the leg base. After that we dug down around it burying wire for preditor protection and then concreting a 6 inch border around the outside of the cage. That also gave a lot of security to weather issues like high wind.

Used it to cover and protect a small vegetable garden. Easy but time consuming to setup. Works perfect to keep the critters out of my garden. Solid built. Mesh provided seems strong enough to keep critters in or out.

Beware it is complete junk, not worth of a penny

If this is your first time buying/building a chicken coop, I would not recommend. A few of the joints for the frame where not fit perfectly, and it did not come with enough chicken wire. HOWEVER, a little country ingenuity and it went together perfectly. The instructions tell you not to put chicken wire where the shade tarp goes, but that would make the coop unsecure. So plan on purchasing an extra roll of chicken wire. Additionally, zip ties are not going to stand up the all of the weather we get in NM. I used the zip ties to put the coop together as they made for an easier process, and after I just reinforced with bailing wire. The door came mounted in a funny way, but we just used our rivet gun to remount it. There are several little issues that arose, but they are not impossible. All in all, for the price point and size, its one nice coop. Just try to remember the immortal words of Tim Gunn: "Make it work, designers."
